Morgan can't be blamed for the goal. Inch perfect cross and Morgan was moving backwards. Quality goal, end of.

 

The midfield looks like a piece of swiss cheese but that was to be expected.

Shouldn't be missing chances when 3 on 2. Ball to Slim was perfect. Should have smashed that back across the keeper. Mahrez and Vards could have picked up any scraps then. No way was a dink going to work against one of the vest keepers in league. 

 

Poor decision making has cost us here  and there goal..... Simpson and Morgs were both marking him, how did he find that much space?

Slimani is so frustrating. He's good in the air but not much else. He can't even seem to control a football.

Encouraged by that performance despite the scoreline. Wes was playing very well before the goal too. Shame he couldn't/didn't jump to block Morata.

Shame that so many people are keen to diss our players.

 

We've looked superb IMO. I think some need to realise that we're playing the defending champions with a midfield that cost them over 110m feeding a striker that cost 70m. 

 

Morgan has shut a lot of people up today. Might not be superb at bringing the ball out but he's a sensational defender. His positioning and awareness is genuinely amazing to watch.

Not a bad half all in all, we've had one clear cut chance each and they took theirs.

Mahrez having a good game, anyone blaming him for passing to Slimani needs their head checking...  he created a clear goal scoring opportunity, not his fault Slim fooked it. Likewise anyone slating Morgan for their goal, the ball was inch perfect.

Slimani looks as if his confidence is shot, it'll be even worse now that he's missed that chance.

Defence looking really solid until the goal. Was a world-class cross, so can't assign too much blame to Wes.

He could've played Vardy in earlier, but won't point fingers as he's laid on a plate for Slimani.

I feel like if he'd done it earlier, Vardy could have easily outpaced his defender but the more I think about it the less I blame Mahrez.

Totally agree.  Our defending has been great. I'm more worried about the slowness getting forward.  Hopefully Shakey will give them a kick up the arse at HT.  Feel like we can get something from this
