All gender reveal party paraphernalia should be manipulated to cause fatal explosions, for the betterment of the human race.

Agreed. Weird narcissism.

I don't understand those who plaster their young kids achievements etc all over Facebook.  A few from work do it and i find it a tad odd

Yep!

I have one friend at work who's the opposite. Literally every other day at the minimum it's moan, moan, moan about her kid not being able to sleep or how few hours she got herself to sleep.

There seems to be a national fascination over children. These last few years.

People have become obsessed, literally and not figuratively, with their kids. Parents have started to almost live through their children in a really odd way.

My parents were brilliant to me growing up but they weren't obsessed with my every move. I'm sure they celebrated private milestones of mine but they weren't running to let the pastor know I had built a sandcastle.

I know what you mean, but for some it's the only way members of their family have of connecting with what they are up to.

It's a place where people show off. I couldn't stand Facebook that's why I got rid of my account years ago.

As with most things, sharing some happy/positive/encouraging stuff on Facebook/other social media is fine but the problem is that people feel the need to post so damn often maybe because they think others will be interested, which I suspect they're not. One pal of mine posted 23 different things on his profile in one 24 hour period ... he was addicted.

I've only posted 12 times on my personal profile this year. (I've counted, I'm sad like that.)

Admittedly I do have a media page for football stuff but I generally keep my own business to myself.

I barely care what I'm doing so I doubt many others will !

I've got into this a lot. It's a godsend during election times especially.

Us throwing away champions league qualification was a worse bottle job than anything Spurs have done

Didn't they throw away a great lead under Redknapp and missed out to Arsenal?

They didn't bottle it in the title race, they didn't get close enough to catch us.

I don’t think Spurs bottlejob name comes from actually blowing a lead or a real chance of success, more that fact that almost every time they get a chance to put themselves in a strong position, they blow it. They are more pre job bottlejobs.

Disagree...they had the Media Darling & stars. Their injuries were not so long term central to their performances...t

they were a Major Part of a group of favourites...

We Really didnt have adequate Cover in our squad...

Rodgers wouldnt Broadcast it,or  use it was an excuse, even though Major would be 1St teamers

were Carrying awkward hidden longer Term injuries....We were always considered the upstarts..!!!

Spurs were never in a position to throw anything away. They weren’t 1st for a significant amount of time, you can only bottle something if it’s yours to throw away, it never really has been for Spurs.

We had a 14 point lead over 5th and contrived to blow it, Spurs haven’t done anything like that.

Makes sense because Spurs were never top in 15/16 (unless I'm mistaken). You can't bottle something when you were never in position to. I agree they are pre bottlejobs if that's even a thing lol

We definitely bottled last season though, it was criminal.

I donlt think we bottled anything last season to be honest.  We blew it but it was more a matter of injuries and COVID favouring others over us timing wise.

I think that's probably fair. We had a little slump, but we'd have likely turned it around had the season continued. Other teams got players back during lockdown, whilst we lost a couple.

No chance. Our slump started in December.

Still think we'd have got out of it. We won our last game pre lockdown 4-0.

Through History of modern football..throughout Europe Dec-Jan...14-16pts, has been chased down quite a few times...

With better Quality squads losing out.....

We have to Face the obvious, we were simply  not good enough for Top 4...I

We Brush ourselves down , forget last season, struggle and achievements, then go again hoping the experience, takes One that step further, und that must Not always be in position, sometimes presentation,Performance & consistency, allows you to up your seasons slowly, thats what One does in sport

I would say we belong to 3rd level looking to Move & find us competing occasionally for Top 3-6.

Our Financial Situation means those consistent Top 3-4 positions, are normally a Bridge too far...

A Surprise influx of more quality, would help...

Whats gone is gone, looking for blame & Poor descisions or scapegoats....Let this new Management & player period, first grow.

I've said a thousand times, its easy to carry the critical knotted with blame club;  Me..!!  I prefer to  carry the support & encourage  Hammer.I

Especially After a first real venture  of attacking Top 4 season, with still a fair but  unbalanced squad...

Oh yes,god it did hurt, missing out.....!!!

But a new season, with many a new gameday to dawn...
