I dunno, it's more I think we played our best football last season playing 4-2-3-1 with Maddison behind the centre forward.

Problem with people complaining that Ndidi is being destroyed by the system is that I think the system is better for the rest of the side. Ultimately Ndidi is going to have to adapt as you can't build you side around your defensive midfielder.

It's the old problem England had under Sven when we had all those great midfielders but couldn't fit them into a system together. And ultimately I think we've got to prioritise building the side to bring the best out of Maddison not Ndidi. I still think Ndidi can on paper be alright in the 4-2-3-1 but he has been very disappointing there over the past season to season and a half.

Not having the Vardy talk though, we were so a much a better side with Vardy in last season and we tried both Daka and Iheanacho up front on their own and as a 2 and both looked to pale in comparison to when Vardy was in the side.

Molson Coors rebranding Carling as a Spanish larger is one of the biggest con jobs/marketing ploys of all time

If you mean the Burton brewed marketing ploy Madri, I agree it isnt great so I dont think thats an unpopular opinion but it is still definitely better than Carling.

Not much is worse than Carling to be fair.

Bloody hell Madri actually being Carling would have been an incredible plot twist. I've not had it but its popped up absolutely everywhere now.

It's much better than carling but lads just order it by default now, massively over rated. Love to know how much you have to plough into marketing or putting it in places to make it so popular, especially when it isn't great.

Sat in Miller and Carter last week and the lad at the next table just ordered a pint without looking at the drinks menu, his face when he was forced to pick between peroni and Estrella ( 2 actual lagers) was incredible lol

I don’t think a two year deal for Vardy at his age and wages was a smart move by the club.

Depends, he may still us a few shirts in the championship

I think we've gone past the point where the club is making smart moves regarding contracts lol

Football club twitter account posting memes and daft videos, no need. Likely just comes around to bite you in the arse.

Oh I agree unreservedly (am I allowed to do that an an unpopular opinions thread?) but why stop at football clubs?

Is this a very unpopular opinion?

The workers, working in different industries, are being quite greedy in striking and disrupting innocent people's journeys to work due to wanting more pay.

There's plenty of other workers who are quite dissatisfied with their employer/industry over pay/benefits but still carry on working regardless (for example, nurses).

I had this chat today weirdly. I suggested that if they’re unhappy with what they get paid, maybe they should consider searching for a new job

That's a valid opinion, really.

Yes, the cost of living is a challenge for many at present, but am thinking even revised pay offers some workers may still not be happy with to accept.

This has been broached before I believe. Firstly it often is not just about pay but terms and conditions etc. The fact so many different workers from transport workers to barristers tells you the widespread dissatisfaction. That some workers can't or won't take action does not mean those that are are greedy. I do sometimes laugh when people criticise workers when they go on strike but quite possibly don't give a monkeys about them otherwise.

Then it’ll become a woefully understaffed and undesirable job industry, much like the NHS is currently.

Ultimately, we know the people in the biggest cars make more money.

They do that with the graft of every person working within a business. They can’t do it without them, so should pay a fair wage. Unfortunately many wait until people either find alternative employment, then try to counter offer.

It’s a fact of life unfortunately.

I think we’re set for a turbulent jobs market as we come into recession, as many will now asses options, as wages get squeezed.
