The weekly list had Matty James on it with little or no others. Last season was worse but now we seem to have gone to the other extreme. It seems we can't even buy a fit player in or others miraculously become fit when we sell them. Today just as we hear some positive news regarding the recently crocked Huth and Ibbora we discover Matty is out again and Fuchs has a fight with a metal pole and loses! Is there something sinister going on?

Is there something sinister going on? Yeah just heard about Fuch's bizarre training incident involving an eye injury with a pole. Last season I would have interpreted that as n altercation and subsequent punch in the face from Wasilewski. Almost prompted to start a thread devoted to bizarre injuries sustained in football, but I'm certain it's been done before on here and nothing for me will beat Dave Beasant's encounter with a bottle of salad cream.

Monsell1976 Posted 14 September 2017 Posted 14 September 2017 Injuries cannot be helped, but where Matty James is concerned it's nothing new, which is why rewarding him a new contract, before he's had an injury free season baffles me, hardly kick a ball for a large part of his last contract, I personally would have waited to see how he gets on.
