We basically got two new blokes on big money contracts (Appleton is on half a million a year for ****s sake! ) who have had six games as we stand. It's a massive pay out and upheaval to send them both down the road. I have a feeling survival may be good enough for them now; Top and Vic seem to have other fish to fry and Rudkin is running the show. If NO points are picked up in the next batch of games however they have no choice. You obviously didn’t do economics at school relegation would cost us around £100/120m a couple of million to sack our failing management team is a fairly easy call if they lose today

You are corect though - I didn't study economics. I do understand the financial implications here, but history tells us they often give managers time to turn it around. Dont get me wrong I don't rate him and didn't want him.

Sorry I see your point now yes maybe your right , I think they have been ruthless enough in past and I’m not sure they wanted Shakey in first place , the players forced their hand a little by getting us safe and then the players giving him gushing praise if we are beat today I think we will have a new manager for the West Brom game
Stevosevic Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Lots of noise from players in interviews the last few days about how important this game is.
RODNEY FERNIO Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Well Lawro and Merson are both predicting a 2-1 defeat ....... lets prove them wrong.
sdb Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Why do I know that we'll do nothing for the first 45-50 mins? Can't be a good sign of things at the mo.
PhillippaT Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 I'm not going to be around today to watch this one Though if it means we actually win it, then Shame it won't have much coverage on MOTD (probs) - oh well. Are there any other good places to get full match highlights from?
Tuna Posted 30 September 2017 Author Posted 30 September 2017 Can't see anything other than a defeat today. It will go like the Huddersfield match, but this time they'll score as they've better attacking players than Huddersfield. We'll barely have any pass completion, barely any possession, no shots and probably go in 1 down at half time. We'll probably go for it with 15 minutes left and 2-0 down and end up with 4 strikers on the pitch losing 2-1 after a late consolation. Howe knows how we'll play and what tactics we'll use, we're so predictable, formation and lineup wise.

Wymsey Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Might listen to it on the radio. Is Ian Stringer still ok at doing the commentary?

bridport007 Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 I was really looking forward to today until I read this thread :-) I have a ticket in the Ted MacDougal stand...sounds like something in Craggy Island, doesn't it. I was in the B'mouth end when we beat them 0-1 in the championship. I managed to sit on my hands when the goal went in that time, so I'm hoping to keep my winning streak going. My friend's dad is a Bournemouth fan and has to go to a wedding, so he offered me the ticket. He's just messaged me to say enjoy the game...it's a must-win for both sides. Naturally, I messaged him back and told him to dream on...there's only one winner today. I fancy another 1-0 or 2-1 to us.
dynamark Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Its benchmark a plimsoll line if you like .We have to be better than these if we are a premiership club and better than stoke and west brom if we are a top 8. Lets see what we can do players first and manager second.Players have to take responsibility for what occurs on pitch.95 minutes a week not to much to ask
Legend_in_blue Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 We'll lose this game. We're too predictable. It's easy to line up against us because the opposition manager may as well be picking our team as we don't change things at all. Howe will know exactly how we're going to set up today. And so do we. It's depressing, but there you have it.
m4DD0gg Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Got all my fingers and toes crossed but with our non existent midfield it will be like watching two blind rats fighting over a rotten courgette.

FoxinNotts Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Kasper in goal, standard back four, anchor the midfielder with Ndidi and Iborra. Let Mahrez, Gray and Shinji loose behind Vardy. Just get on with it!
Guest seanfox778 Posted 30 September 2017 Posted 30 September 2017 Want to see a positive performance today, If we spend the game getting dominated by Harry Arter then I shall fear the worse for us. Come on Leicester!
