Leicester City submit appeal to Fifa in bid to complete £25m Adrien Silva signing

In this case I’m wondering that if the FA are culpable and that Leicester have the evidence implicating the FA with this complete embarrassing mess whether they have instructed their lawyers to approach the fa with certain demands to either back their appeal or face a law suit?

I’m just wondering if this is the case as we’ve really had no official announcement from the club regarding an appeal or anything to do with this mess ?

Also the fact that Adrien Silva was at the sporting match on Saturday saying his official goodbyes to the club and fans whether he has heard anything to do with his registration just now being a formality from FIFA and we will be hearing he is our man at last ??

We can only hope this mess is sorted soon and that the silence from all parties and the fact of Silvas sporting goodbyes can only be positive news ??

Dream on.....

My opinion FWIW is we're chasing a lost cause with an appeal. Bottom line is we missed the deadline so he won't be able to play for us until January.

The lack of clarity in the original (non)announcement of his signing was a clear sign that all was not in order.

An almighty cock up I'm afraid and it's Adrien Silva that I feel most sorry for as it really could damage his international career through no fault of his own.

What does this even mean?

What do you think it means Danny boy? We are all hoping that he will solve our midfield problems and everything will be ok, we've not got a lot of hope for anything else have we?

Someone mentioned party earlier

I thought of the album title first, then the song............. We're Pretty Vacant in a particular position.

God Bless you all

That's the debatable point though!

Comparable to getting relegated to league one?

Good point. That probably was worse! Just so fed up at the moment. We were one of a quite small number of sides (14?) To have never been out of the top two divisions. To lose that was gutting.

What's with the number 14 and LCFC?

It is actually only 8:

Arsenal
Chelsea
Everton
Liverpool
Manchester United
Newcastle United
Tottenham Hotspur
West Ham United

I was gutted about losing that record too.

Didn't someone mention that the club is still awaiting a response from FIFA over the appeal submitted, or haven't we appealed at all?..

But - I doubt the latter assumption is true, as Silva has been in Leicester during the past few home games..

I haven't posted on this particular thread before because I can't relate to all the idiot posters.

Why can't you wait until the decision is announced, why do you need to know, is is going to change your life!!

I know the that most of the current generation can't be patient, it's all now now now, but all will be revealed sooner of later, just get a life and wait.

Surely must be close now, he’s saying thank you!

Two possible interpretations of this, pick your favourite depending on your level of optimism/pessimism:

1) It's the international break so he isn't obliged to sit in the stands watching us, our other non-international players are getting a few days off anyway. What better way to spend it than going home with the family and saying a proper not-rushed goodbye to teammates and the club he's been at for 15 years? Plus it's great timing as it happens to coincide with a home game against their fiercest traditional rivals.

2) Remember a few weeks back when he posted that he would say a proper farewell when the time is right? Well, if the time is now, maybe, just maybe there's been a development?

So let me get this straight.  You are definitely saying that there has absolutely, unequivocally and 100 per cent, been a development?

Thought so.

I'll hold you to that.

Can anybody translate what he’s saying at all please?

Oh dear. I am sure some FT members will put up some interesting translations...   This could well follow the last Hitler thread.

How much are Spurs paying them?

They've agreed to let them use their tea lady for the International matches (plus a few quid)
