If we spent big on a new centre back and right back along with a bonus of Ben arfa id be very happy. Spending lots of money on attackers is great but we definitely need to build on our aging defense :)

Need to give a Drago a chance before we go spending money on a CB.

Be great to strengthen the Defence as Stoke gave showed how Maguire is still young and fresh and making a few silly mistakes, Morgan has been a great stalwart for the club but he’s beginning to slow down somewhat and Fuchs has started to be less efficient as before the first Stoke goal was well given away by Fuchs but we need to give Dragovic a run out with either Morgan or Maguire to really see what this lad is capable of before we splash out in January !

Ben Arfa could be a great acquisition and if Puel can get the best out of him would be a real bonus, Silva coming into the squad in January is going to be a real bonus and looks as him and Iborra will be a dominant force in midfield for us if Mahrez decides to go Ben Arfa can step into his role and Gray is looking to have signs of brilliance during games he just needs to be more consistent and We need Vardy and co to come back from the internationals unscathed fit and raring to fight against a Man City side that have been so dominant and unstoppable this season let’s hope we can take points from them !:scarf:

I think Ben Arfa is being lined up as a replacement for Mahrez!

Hartam Ben Arfa seems like he’s on his way in January with Mahrez off to wherever but I’m hoping Puel can persuade him to stay, Can see us selling a couple which could be either one or two of Musa Slimani Ulloa Benny ?

Puel will want to put his stamp on the squad so we may see a bit of a change in January also glad we’re tying down Gray with a new contract he could be a pivotal player for us under Puel and can only get better with more game time if Sunday was anything to go by, and with the news of a new training facility things are looking great for us so let’s hpe we continue to improve and pick up the points  !!

If Mahrez does go, it'll be great to take Ben Arfa as his replacement.

I think it's been a shrewd move putting Gray in the team though because Ben Arfa would need time to become match fit, and Albrighton/Chilwell on the left, Gray on the right and Okazaki behind Vardy ain't bad in the meantime.

No team will dish out the sums mentioned for some of our second-string members. Laughable.

January's a seller's market. Only teams desperate for players will go for players and then pay way over the odds.

We don't really have the need to sell and may need a larger squad going into the next round in the League Cup and maybe mount an attempt in the FA Cup, as well.

Adrien Silva will finally be able to play for us and another right-back would be nice, although Amartey has shown he can play there (not my preferred choice, though).

I think we'd then be pretty much stacked and ready to go.

If at all, I can see some fringe players leave on loan (with a recall option) in order to gain match practice and/or stay fit.

You never know anymore. It's unbelievable how much money some players go for.

I wouldn't put it past Palace for example to panic and go for Ulloa.

Leicester star ‘wants to leave this winter’, fed up of sitting on the bench

By Tom Coast -7th November 2017

Once again left on the bench at Leicester City, it seems Islam Slimani has had enough of his situation at King Power Stadium.

A week or so ago, the talk coming out of the Algerian press suggested the striker was ‘seriously thinking about leaving’, but things haven’t improved and now he wants out.

This is what L’Expression are saying on Tuesday, not holding back with their article headline ‘Islam Slimani wants to leave this winter’.

Back with his national team after being left out during the last international break, the 29-year-old will be looking forward to getting some game time under his belt since he isn’t getting any under Claude Puel.

With both Crystal Palace in the Premier League and Rennes in Ligue 1 said to be interested in his services, Slimani could have an exit route already planned.

The problem is, will Leicester want to let him go, and if they do, will they allow it be on loan, as the French side certainly do not have the financial power to help the Foxes recoup their initial expenditure.

One to follow over the coming months

Bristol City are desperately trying to tie down midfield ace Bobby Reid to a new long-term deal amid interest from four clubs, sources have told TEAMtalk.

The 24-year-old has started the season in spectacular fashion with eight goals in 16 games.

His current contract expires at the end of the season, although City have a 12-month option on him.

But City – like Reid- are aware of the increasing interest in the player, who has come through the ranks at Ashton Gate.

Leicester, Brighton, Burnley and Middlesbrough are all taking a close look at his situation and could make a move when the transfer window reopens in January should the midfielder not cement his future to the Championship’s surprise package this season.
