The "nonsensical things that Leicester do" thread

How have we only had one recognised RB since de Laet left nearly 2 years ago? We are lucky Simpson never gets injured and rarely performs lower than 6/10.

Hmm where to start:

1) Over 50m spent on two donkeys up front.

2) Silva situation.

3) Rudkin still in a job.

4) Shakespeare being given the job.

5) Only having one recognized right back.

6) Andy King.

7) Most of our transfers the last 2 summers.

8) Ulloa and James new contracts.

9) NFP at the feeder club.

I think you could add:

 10) Previously allowing certain players to become serial ‘Hoofers’ instead of training them to pass the ball to a team-mate.

Was it in 2015-16 when we used to leave 3 men on the halfway line when defending corners? Maybe not 3 but there were times yesterday when 2 on the halfway line would have given Man City something to think about. Why not leave mahrez and vardy further up?

Pet hate of mine sending every man back to defend a corner. Leaving nobody up meant city only left one player back. If we left vardy up then they would leave 2 back and would give us an outlet.

Iheanacho being brought on yesterday at 2-0 down was a bizarre decision as well. No way he could have influenced that game at that stage. Totally pointless decision.

"Substitution for Leicester City number 19, Islam Slimani replacing number 11, Marc Albrighton."

Previously it was Ulloa for Albrighton.

Winds me right up stuff like that.

On a more serious note, spend 150m on overall let's face it, dross and nobody in the club holding their hands up and being held accountable. Mr Rudkin......

Neither do normal corners tbf

Aren't we top of the goals scored from corners league, well we were 2 weeks ago. Surprising I know but Maguire and Iborra seem to be making a difference.

- Never played Gray and Mahrez together until Puel came, because "muh defense". Not realising that with both of them on the pitch it was the opponent who had something to worry about.

- Letting Simpson without any competition.

- Bring Slim on right after getting Albrighton off.

Seemingly taken away the option to have tickets loaded onto membership cards. The only options I ever get are paper tickets or print at home.

Letting Simpson without any concurrence?..

The most 'nonsensical sentence' used in this thread so far.

Really? Who's Simpson's back-up?

Not disagreeing that we don't need back up for Simpson....

But couldn't understand the sentence!... Concurrence is a great word!...

Persisting in a centre half because he's young, English and had two good games at the start of the season when there's a better centre half on the bench.

I'd love to know our stats for scoring Vs conceeding direct free kicks in and around the box. We get one and I never, ever feel like there is any chance of it going in, goal looks tiny. Opposition get one and you look at Kasper and think wow look at all that space they've got to bend it over the wall, then time and time again there it goes in the back of the net! I think Riyad scored one in Brugges, other than that all I can remember is us conceding them very regularly.

Buying Hull's first team goalkeeper as a backup to Schmeichel, but then putting someone who is only at the club for his banter on the bench ahead of him.

Invest lots of money in youth academy - give older or no longer required players new contracts meaning youth have even harder time breaking into the squad.

Must have forgotten the doggo Hull away performance.

Straight from german. It should read competition. I'll edit my orignal post.
