He had an amazing start here, 6 goals in his first 3 games. Really thought we had a star on our hands.

Went downhill for him after that despite some bright moments. No-one in their right mind would boo him.

TBF I'll just be sat home having a couple of stubbies chanting this on my own:

Dyche Dyche wherever you maybe

you've done a great job at burn e ley

youve spent the cash and done what you oughta

but don't drop Chris Wood or he'll bang your daughter.

He scored my two favorite goals when we went up - that glorious strike against Burnley and the hilarious face rebound at Watford. Such precious memories.

Didn't work out for him in the great escape season in the same way it didn't for Knockhaert. Massive shame but I genuinely won't know why you'd boo him!

Was Chris Wood the first striker to suffer as a Vardy partner.

Clearly a good player but the dynamic between the 2 of them didn't work, was pretty good until Vardy took over as the main man, and then couldn't live with him. Wood was just a precursor to Ulloa, Slmani, Musa, Nacho, they can't play with Vardy we can't play without him.

(Not a dig at Vardy, just an observation)

Also Chris Wood won our first point in this PL spell, so it annoyed me greatly when he scored his first for Burnley and all the commentators were banging on about opening his PL account, first goal in the top flight, clueless muppets.

Who knows but there definitely seemed to be some bad blood between him and pearson

Wood himself confirmed this season that he had long spells out at Leicester because he was overweight.

Just simply...brill.!!!

Not even a knockout.....With that chin, he should take on...Joshua and Klitsch....ko

I remember him more for his Everton goal, this one slipped my mind...I was even there...

A good find for Burnley. We will see him become a good PL player.

The coming of a kiwi, Harry Kane.....

I ask the city fans, to appaud him, hes earnt that respect...!!!

I thought he was absolutely crap to be honest. Still wouldn't boo him though, he left because he wasnt good enough which isn't a reason to hate the guy.

Always liked wood, not the most mobile of strikers, but is an excellent finisher, another one that had potential, and for one reason, or another it didn’t work out for him here.

Wood played a role in us going up. Deserves a clap.

Nobody apart from Wise and Taylor should get booed. Mattock pissed me off at the time and I did boo him when he returned with WBA but I'm over that now.

Agree ...the only players Vardy seems to combine well with were Nugent and Okazaki.  Its funny how certain players seem to be on the same wavelength , while others not. Think you just have to mix and match until you find out.

Probably not a coincidence that  both of them will chase lost causes all day too.
