Finn Claw II Posted 9 January 2018 Posted 9 January 2018 Whether he wants to be here or not, none of the big clubs are going to go for him if he can't get a game for us. He needs some game time so a loan is the best move all round. I'd send him to somewhere like Swansea, Huddersfield or Brighton personally he is young so I still have hope he will improve
Buzzell Posted 9 January 2018 Posted 9 January 2018 I wouldn’t sell him yet because I think this guy has the potential there to become a great player. Just a shame he’s not getting in. We can’t afford to be dropping Vardy for a start and Okazaki has been great this year so he’s in the same boat as Slimani. Whether it’s a fitness problem or that he’s not pulling his weight in training, he needs to knuckle down and fight his way into the team. If he can’t be arsed and is happy to pick up his wage whilst warming the bench then so be it, get rid.

Maybe a loan would help but it may go the same way as Krama... so do we keep or push through?
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 10 January 2018 Posted 10 January 2018 I'm a bit worried re his attitude. No basis for this other than observation and the previous double denim concerns!! Is he a big time Charlie? I heard on talk sport today that Man City pay some youth players 30 grand a week. Has he come from a place where it all comes a little too easy? 1

st albans fox Posted 10 January 2018 Posted 10 January 2018 Tanner just tweeted that he is NOT for sale didn’t mention anything about a loan though .....
Gerard Posted 10 January 2018 Posted 10 January 2018 Puel was quite critical that he wasn't as good as Vardy and couldn't play behind him. Despite that tweet I suspect we would sell if offered our money back.
st albans fox Posted 10 January 2018 Posted 10 January 2018 Perhaps this briefing is just to warn off those who think we want rid so would make a derisory offer. The reality being we would sell at £20m also, imagine how he feels. He left he best club in the country cos he was fed up being a sub. He probably watches all the league cup and easier PL fixtures now and thinks how many goals he would be scoring if he had stayed there !

knitro Posted 10 January 2018 Posted 10 January 2018 Sounds like Puel's comments were trying to light a fire under Kelechi's ass, not portends of him being sent away.

But I agree with some on here, he's clearly got talent. For the money we have paid, you'd surely give him more of a chance than he's had to date. Our record in the transfer market since the window we brought Kante is so bad. Gray, Ndidi, Maguire... but everyone else has been a real let down. Can everyone on FT stop reading into a player's body language? Y'all suck at it at it and see what you want to see in it. Thank you. 1

Heymister2015 Posted 10 January 2018 Posted 10 January 2018 Id love to know how Leicester fans know he's not very good. Having played cameos coming back from injury and only being 21

Usually I can judge a player after a few sub appearances, I am not saying I have always got it right, but I have been right most of the time from my time at judging players. He has had several appearances for us now. If a player doest apply much effort but has quality I let the lack of effort slip. If a player applies effort but has little quality, its hard to ignore but I give the player more time to improve. Sadly in nacho's case he doesnt have quality and his effort is lacking. It wouldnt suprise me if he is on anti depressants for moving from a pep team to ourselves. I feel like i am talking to brick walls tho, I make posts explaining what I say, then another post will popup with something like. "but he hasnt had a chance" right after I explained he has had a chance. I dont get it. If I player needs a 1000 mins of football to even show promise then he isnt good enough. Elvis hammond could probably do what he did at man city. Edited 10 January 2018 by Chrysalis 3

Poor bloke!.. anyone would be on antidepressants under those circumstances! 1 1
