Have you forgotten all his interviews with sky, press realeases etc in the summer. That's not professional.

Exactly, in the summer. That doesn't mean he's going he did it again this time.

If it is a case of him becoming a first team player in place of sterling then I don't think the money we're asking for is unreasonable to be honest

I never meant that.

I do think he's far more worth than their 55M bid and he can make it at City if he stays at this level, but as I already stated it's irrelevant for me. We don't need the money and we won't get a 70M player.

What's annoying me the most is that is City could pretty much have a cost us a european spot with their shitty antics. I always thought he'd finish the season with us and then goes in the summer wherever he wants.

How do you think Sky etc get hold of the news he's put a transfer request in and there's been a bid? Despite the club making no comment about the request and saying no bid received. It will be via his agent with his blessing.

ordinarily i love sky sports news and all them affiliation to sky (talksport).. but they are clearly exaggerating stuff for an exciting evening with millions of viewers and for punters to start slamming money on sky bet. So annoying.  They have such a deadline day reputation they will chat the most shite to keep it up. God forbid they have a quiet one.

Nope we won't. 7th is the highest we can achieve this season.

Why is that? If we’re to win tonight the gap would be 5points.

I agree so think they should have to pay more as a consequence. It's all irrelevant at the end of the day anyway if man city refuse to pay our price

Disagree. Arsenal are gash.

Wait until Mkhi and Aubameyang get themselves warm. They're nowhere near their level but to think that we can chase them this season is wishful thinking. Even more so if we lose Mahrez.

If I'm being honest I'm not sure Mahrez has the mentality to be at an elite club, not sure why, its just an impression I get. And £50m is probably about his value.

BUT when clubs are paying ridiculous fees for the likes of Coutinho and Van Dijk it brings the price of everyone else up. We're seeing shit players go for £20m plus, I seen that West Ham wanted to pay £20m for Tom Cairney FFS

I've got that Australian flu thing and it's actually slightly less painful than watching Sky Sports news today.

BS. A few weeks ago, the very same outlets reported that he had a medical checkup the next day in Liverpool when he was vacationing with his family in Dubai

Forget Sky Sports and their nonsense. Listen to Percy- according to him yesterday, £60m would be 'instantly dismissed' and he hasn't tweeted anything to the contrary. I have faith in our owners to not get fleeced.

The state of transfer deadline day summed up by this.

"The Liverpool fans want to see a signing today, they don't really care who it is or whether he is any good, but they feel Klopp does needs to show intent"

Nope, the Liverpool stuff all came from France Football and BEIN.

This is from the English press including two journalists very close to LCFC. Its in Riyad's agent interest, a deal gets done and he will release this info to Sky Sports without a shadow. Just like he did with Coutinho.

I am not going to argue. Riyad's conduct has been borderline poor and I really can't understand the support he gets for Algerian fans either. He missed a massive WORLD CUP qualifying game to sit in an airport all day.

More trendy to wear a knockoff Man City shirt round the mean unlit pathways of Algeria

I think that after this new dummy spitting incident, I want him sold, regardless of how good he is.  I don't think it will happen because I don't think that City will match our valuation, but if it does, I just want to appeal to some of our more sensitive flowers on here.  Please, please, please do not post any more of that "sweet prince" shit.  Makes me sick in my mouth a little bit.

If they stump up close VVD money, then he'll go I think.

Or even close to ‘new training ground’ money...

I'd hope we're already got the finance for that sorted! :D

We are a club that as many have said have come on leaps and bounds this last few years. Our finances are sound and our previous recruitment is reaping rewards. We will find new stars to cheer and we willl consolidate our position as best of the rest.

What we can’t afford to have is a player who doesn’t want to be here so it’s thank you Mahrez and cherio! Great player for us wonderful memories but I feel he will like DD do a lot of bench warming. There are better players and even bigger egos there so let’s see how his career pans out.

As for us let’s have faith in Claude , the owners, and as always us lucky foxes fans will enjoy the amazing ride that is LCFC

And we're in form, while Arsenal are playing like a bunch of utter chumps at the minute.

They've got two Europa League games, the League Cup final, and they've got to play Everton, Spurs and Man City. If we win tonight, our next three fixtures are Swansea (H), Man City (A) and Stoke (H) - not outrageous to see us beating Swansea and Stoke, and Arsenal losing to Spurs and Man City.
