All the best to King. He's right it's probably time the club and him parted ways.

After all the Riyad drama over the last few days this has wrongly gone relatively unnoticed. We should all take a moment to appreciate a player who actually did want to play for our club, all the time until it was no longer feasible

Really quite sad, he was like part of the furniture here, no matter what we went through ya just knew Kingy would still be here giving his all and not complaining.

Almost feels a bit like when you have that "friends with benefits" arrangement with a girl that you have no real interest in but you know will always be around when needed, then one day they announce they have found somebody else and probably wont be returning...You were never fully in love but fvck me it still hurts.

They should get Kingy to stand outside the ground for an afternoon so people could go down and shake his hand and wish him well in person. I'd go.

What a stand up guy. Contributed massively on the pitch over the years throughout all the leagues and probably been a massive part of our success and stability behind the scenes.

Didn't think this day would come tbh lol.

Top bloke, loyal player, and a real shame on two fronts;

1. He wanted to play for LCFC and was glad of every second he did - just couldn't step up as far as the club have.

2. On a day that should have been dominated by his leaving, it went unnoticed as the "star turn" took all the attention - almost like a microcosm of his career at LCFC.

Never caused trouble, never in the headlines for a negative reason, just a committed player who gave his all for the club.

It is time for all to move on and I hope he does well elsewhere, this season and beyond. One of the good guys.

Well said he'll go down in foxes history and rightly so

He's unlikely to due to being ineligible to play, but it'd be strange to see him at the football via being an opposition player on Saturday.

Not sure whether we'll really be seeing him on Saturday. He won't be able to play against us and is unlikely to travel with the team. Could be a spectator, though.

Say what you want, but this guy was with us for our lowest low and worked his way up all the way to our highest high. He was quite literally there when we were shit.

His goal on title lifting day brought the giddiest of smiles to my face and the picture above is pure class.

Here's to you Andy, Andy King!

That picture is eternal. How that didn’t win awards I have no clue.

This thread really does make me think of this:

I wonder how many people now wishing him all the best, have been slagging him for years?

If he does play a fair amount of games for them, but doesn't perform as well as he can consistently and Swansea get relegated, his career may even be in more jeopardy of uncertainty.

They're a club that's desperate for good results, and he'll be under-pressure to be consistent and a key player for them.
