This makes me sad. I don't really want him playing, but it's nice to know hes there! His playing career at Leicester is clearly coming to an end, but I hope that they find some role for him.

It will feel odd seeing him in a shirt that isn't Leicester's but good luck to him. A club legend without a shadow of a doubt.

Glad Puel is taking a stance though and putting quality over sentiment. King was very much part of the old guard but now is a new era

Good luck Andy. He has been  a great person with a fantastic attitude who has been with us through thick and thin and deserves his chance to try and shine at another club. hope it goes really well for him and he plays regularly.

seems like thats the end of king with the statement he has made sounds like its a loan to permanent deal. I'm glad he has gone to seek first team football he is a top pro and i wish him all the look in the future.

Weird move, will he even get a game there?

Might at the beginning but I’d doubt he will be in the starting 11 for long

If anyone can claim to of earned the right to a move, its a long standing servant of the club who has been with us in the good times and the bad.

It will feel strange not having him around but i wish the absolute very best for him - whether this is a loan or permanent.

It's a shame that the whole Mahrez stuff has overshadowed what is another massive transfer dealing. Not for monetary value mind, but for sentimental and other reasons.

Our longest serving player has potentially left us for good, was very weird watching that interview seeing him in a Swansea shirt.

I wish him all the best. He's been with us through it all and it's a shame to see such a likable professional leave our club. He's a rarity in modern football.

Things to take away from that interview:

King has initially joined the Swans on loan until the end of the season, but he is already contemplating the idea of staying in South West Wales beyond 2017-18.

“My time at Leicester had come to an end,” he added.

“I was not really involved and I am not one of those players who wants to train and not be involved on a Saturday.

“I wanted to come here and try something new. It looks like a great place to live. I know a few of the lads already and they spoke very highly of the club.

“If the loan all goes well over the next few months and the club are happy with the work I have done, maybe I can stay here longer.”
