It is looking f'ing ugly. It is looking f'ing vulnerable. We could easily be down 3 goals. I am sorry, I simply do not understand the point of starting such a defensive 11, then expecting them to get fwd and attack instead of starting a balanced attack in the first place. Silva behind a front three of Diabate/Gray, Vardy, and Mahrez gives us a threat across the field. If we want to go 4-3-3, play Iborra instead of James and leave the backline home. We would be much, much more solid defensively. And if we cannot get the ball to Vardy -- which we clearly cannot -- let's get Iheanacho into the game instead. Unless we believe Vardy is keeping their backline deep and out of their build-up, which I admit is a possibility. But Vardy is too easily taken out of the game. All his hustle and endeavor are worthless without seeing the ball. Iheanacho can do things around the box, he has a different skill set. Just more effort is not the answer. We are tactically outmatched at the moment, and it is all personnel and tactics. Exceedingly frustrating tio see a team scroing less than a goal per game on the road absolutely DOMINATING us. 5
