It actually hit me for the first time yesterday I'm gonna miss him when he leaves.

 

Singing "ohhh Jamie Vardy" after his goal yesterday. I watched it back on twitter on the train home - some Brighton fan had posted it - got me thinking.

it's been said a lot, but my god for the amount of shots he has a game he's done incredible to get 15 goals for us this season.

 

Some comparable information to Kane; Kane has averaged 5.4 shots per game in the prem, with Vardy getting only 1.8 SPG!

JAMIE VARDY is set for a bumper £140,000-a-week contract offer to stay at Leicester.

The England striker will be rewarded for his amazing form that has seen him score 10 goals in 13 games.

Vardy, 31, broke through the £100,000-a-week barrier when agreed a new deal at the King Power Stadium, which has two years left to run.

He could get bumped up to the £140,000-a-week mark with an extension of a season to make sure his future is secures with the Foxes.

Despite being in his 30s, the ex-Fleetwood striker has not lost his pace and has hit double figures for goals in the two seasons since winning the Premier League title.

However, there’s less good news for Leicester fans regarding the future of Riyad Mahrez.

The Algerian was the subject of a failed bid by Manchester City in January.

And Pep Guardiola will return with a £65million offer for Mahrez this summer.

He has two years left on his King Power Stadium deal and has no intention of signing an extension.

Leicester have been reluctant to part ways in recent windows but could now grant Mahrez his wish – providing the numbers from City are right.

i like him been a legend, but I do often wonder if he dictates our style of play up top, thus making us a bit one dimensional. 

Hard to tell because no ones really got to start for more that a few games.

Vardy was our top scorer when we won the Premier League and he’s still scoring, for me that makes him our greatest ever striker.

 

Him signing a new contract would be huge.

We well never know because players haven’t really got a chance, maybe slim had few games didn’t do to bad to start with.

Lineker was wonderful, but left fairly early in his career and improved no end. In terms of impact for Leicester, Vards has has had loads more. 

 

I think it makes total sense to do this (as much as these absurd salaries can possibly make sense, but you get what I mean)
