Would it make it look better and more justified if we waited till the end of the season when he's took us down to 12th (Or can we finish lower than that) then?

Bare in mind you could call pretty much the whole of the bottom half a relegation battle this season up until the last couple of weeks, it's good job we were safe weeks ago/games have run out because we've gone from challenging for 7th to being almost dragged into the bottom half/relegation battle in the matter of weeks.

Positions do not tell the full story.

With almost a blink of an eye we've gone from being 3 points behind Burnley in 7th to what i'm predicted in terms of points that we'll be closer to the relegation zone than 7th come the end of the season and in reality we've been treading water and losing the battle for the whole of 2nd half of the season.

I wouldnt disagree with any of what you have said.

I just think we have a bunch of players who were never keen on him from the off. I think initially they warmed to him, but at the first sign of things not being exactly their liking they have completely given up on him and us.

Maybe that is just football now. Even Mourinho couldn't stop it from happening at Chelsea. Player power is something more associated with bigger clubs than ourselves but i suppose thats what one Premier League medals does to these egos.

Allardyce.

Absolutely no mistaking what he says in press conferences.

Keeps teams up.........we will need that next season.

Gets teams more solid at the back.......we need that badly.

Plays awful direct football......everyone wants that

Will only last one season......As long as the players can be bothered to work for someone so only needs a one year contract

Hes perfect for us.

Certainly no need to extend the stadium if Big Sam is the replacement.

Short passing football doesn't work at Leicester. The crowd hate it, the players hate it.

So whats the point in talking about Rogers, Jokanovic, Wenger (????)

We have the opportunity to bring in a hoofer with a proven track record of keeping teams up and moving them into safe mid table positions.

Allardyce will get us hoofing, we will become happy we are hoofing, we can hoof to Vardy non stop which is a major selling point to the crowd and players, and probably keep quite a few players that we would have otherwise binned and save money.

Whats not positive about this approach? it fits everything we need?

I don't know whether this is said in jest but it does seem to be the case.

I have always wanted a Leicester side that plays technical football but guess we will resort to plan A and keep trying plan A until we find someone that it works with.

Zeljko Buvac the man who moulded and created the Klopp style of play , seems to have left Liverpool

he is the man credited with changing Firminho and going for Salah ,surely he would make an amazing director of football or Head Coach ? It seems he has been central to all that Klopp has achieved .

Would love to see us make a play for him

Thought he was just given some leave?

So much disrespect on here for Puel, we're an embarrassment of a fanbase to be quite honest. Granted it clearly isn't working out here which I don't believe is all his own doing although a couple of decisions (mainly Dragovic) are mystifying. But to call the guy clueless or a clown is simply ridiculous given his record at the French clubs, overachieved massively with Lille and Nice, took Lyon to the Champions League Semi Final and won the Ligue 1 with Monaco. To quote Nigel Pearson, there are rather a lot of delusions of grandeur around this place.

.....I agree that the use of derogatory terms in describing him are a step too far.

This however does not negate his ineffective playing style and poor man management in his time at the club. Not learning from his previous tenure at Southampton and his inability to connect with the supporters has contributed greatly to this situation.

Once again, no deluded fans, just supporters with aspiration.

Because in the last 15 years, how many clubs outside of the rich six have made the Champions League? Everton once and ourselves. We're competing against teams with endless supplies of money and huge incomes from foreign markets which we simply don't have. They have better squad depth than ourselves and can afford and attract better players. Seventh is our ceiling, anything over that and it is a huge overachievement, there is a reason why us winning the league was the greatest moment in the history of the Premier League, because it'll never happen again for a club of our size. It's ok to dream however let's not think that we're something that we're not.

.....in every walk of life you need to aim as high as you can. Should you fail to achieve this you might just hit 6th or you might hit 3rd.

This League is no longer as strong as it used to be, teams have more funds, the whole show has moved on and sitting there hoping to maintain the status quo will only leave you falling behind the progressive and opportunist clubs.

Pearsons' set up of the psychologist and conditioning team were a start of keeping up with and ahead of the big boys. We have set ourselves back by dismantling this and need to restore the departments as a move to catch up with the more progressive clubs.

A club our size can compete, the owners believe it (they had a 4 year plan to gain top four) the fact that we achieved this within 2 years, call it a "miracle" or a "perfect storm", we are still being backed by them to become a top 4 team.

The inference therefore is, do you believe the owners to be deluded!!!!

Very much so, we were linked with him before Puel joined, cannot think Puel is not on very thin ice now and if and when he goes we do need to get the next appointment right, kept us up though and with the right tweaking, right manager and a few new additions we could be challenging 6 or 7 next season.

The next appointment is crucial now I think more than ever
