The U21 lads made a lot of friends among themselves and so did the "overs" I guess. Of those, I see Katy, Fez and Kokopops the most at away games or once or twice a season in the Font for an unplanned chat. I see him less often now he's got a family but I know Mablo well enough to stop and have a chat with him as well. I see Smuts less often but I'd have a chat with him if I saw him at the ground or at an away game as well.

 

I see Carl (Sir Fynwy) and Lisa in the Font semi regularly but, like Stan, I tend to just leave them alone. I'm not sure if the former two would recognize me anymore and I know Stan probably hasn't ever met me. I only know it's him because of the Tinder thread memes (sorry, Stan.) I just generally work under the assumption that most people don't want to be bothered by internet strangers when in public so I tend to keep to myself. If you actually want me to identify myself next time I see you @StanSP I'll give you a prod. You're often in C2 so I see you a lot tbh.

 

Romance brewing before  all of our eyes.

Then I got signed up to a Sunday League team off the back of it, turned up hungover every week, couldn't cope with it, did foul throws, nearly threw up one game and swiftly fell out of favour.

 

I still see / yap to plenty on here IRL, Tilley and bloody Joe. are amongst my best mates ffs. Tommeh, Scouse, Una - all top tier tbf.

Are you, ScouseFox, Unabomber etc all 'fixed up' on the relationship front now, with the Tinder thread feeling it was only vibrant a good while ago?

It was supposed to be a secret Suzie. I'd heard that girls from Melton are supposed to have nice pork pies.

 

On a more serious note, I have it on good authority that we have a number of weird male stalkers to any posters who appear to be female.

I've met a few people via foxestalk, mainly having helped out with tickets etc.

 

Sorted @steveherbe and @Sol thewall Bamba tickets for Doncaster Home few years back and consider them friends now, always try to say hello whenever they come up from the coast.

 

Also took pitty on @Lcfc_lass10 a few years back when she was heading to the hawthorns on her own, she's now considered one of our group that travel together. Despite us all being old enough to be her Dad lol 

 

Also met @Lestagirl via here, and when she came to collect tickets, it put her back in touch with someone she hadn't seen for a few years. Think that's been a good thing.

 

And me and @baker11 have had a few chats via FB messenger, about several things, yet not sure we have ever actually said a work to each other in person, maybe one day lol 

 

Other than that, pretty sure I've worked out a few from here on twitter. And there's a few of the UFS lot that i've had chats with but don't think many of them are as active on here as they used to be.

 

Missed one. Also met Jason from the new york foxes via this forum. He was good enough to send me one of there scarfs when then had them made. Good lad.

Talking of stalkers, @Finnegan has said he's seen me at some matches before a while ago. Never came to say hello and I was deeply offended. 

I too have seen you at a couple of games but been too star struck to come say hello. We were also in a short-lived WhatsApp group chat together a couple of years ago through a mutual friend!

You played in goal at Vicky Park in the third game didn't you? Never forgiven you for a world class reaction save you pulled off to deny me a third goal in three games. @Tevez was easier to beat. ;)

Got a DM on here many years ago, when I was under a different name, from a lad (doesn't post on here now) who liked a post I'd written and asked if I fancied meeting up for a beer before Palace away. From there I've gone on to meet many who post/posted here, largely through that, but also just having met folks through other means and later realising you've sort of known each other through years - just as usernames on FT. Always good to put faces to names.

 

Guessing Scouse Fox was Scouse Fox by hearing his Scouse accent when we got chatting in the Porto away end was a highlight.
