Dixon will just stand by his point and say this is what he should have been doing on Friday, why didn't he etc. Preferably he'll break down in tears and say "I hate him for stopping Arsenal from winning the league, I don't like the fact he's from a club outside the top six and we can't have players who didn't come through the established academy system becoming national heroes." All whilst Wrighty laughs like Zippy on steroids.

Agree. All defences hate pace and these guys have it too. Sterling is 100% better this season and Lingard is keeping Alli out and deservedly so. These 2 and Vardy look a real threat. Only problem we have at mo is in defence; if Italy had been on song in front of goal we'd be losing by now. We are missing Maguire's calmness.

Not sure what Trippier offers that means we're playing Walker at centre half.

 

Would sooner play Walker at right wing back where he's excellent and bring in a proper central defender.

two things. firstly sterling wins the ballon d’or soon surely. what a player. 

 

secondly, kane is going to be this generation’s rooney. he’s going to be easily the most talented/best player in the country for the next decade of his career but we’re going to shoe-horn him into the side, make him captain, set up the whole squad to play around him and he’s going to just score tap ins and penalties and it’s all going to be to the detriment of the actual team. 

 

look at us withiut him tonight. superb going forward for the first time in about 4 years.
