I was a crap centre half playing Sunday morning football, but even I could have passed the ball forward into Marhrez’s path. What a useless, useless attempt at a pass! 1

lee7 Posted 18 March 2018 Posted 18 March 2018 I can only see this going one way. We've not been on it today. Sloppy/silly passes, lack of movement and leaving them with acres of space to move into. Chelsea now attacking the end where their fans are. I cant see puel making the changes to turn this around. in a game where it required a big performance we've just not been a threat.
Guest Posted 18 March 2018 Posted 18 March 2018 People having a go at Chilwell is laughable - he's playing 1 on 1 against the most skilfull player on the pitch and not doing badly. He's also got forward better than some of our attackers. Simpson has been getting forward like a great WB but sadly he doesn't know what to do when he gets the ball and then gets sucked in defensively. Ndidi has been great. We just haven't been as good as chelsea. Waiting for the 2 moments of magic alongside nothing else which wins us the game from we'llmisshimwhenhe'sgone.

We could win this game if we cut out the shit individual errors and stopped trying Hollywood balls over the top to vardy. Keep possession and play the ball around a bit like we did at their place in the league. Fabregas coming on is not good though as bakayoko is one of the worst players ive ever seen

All the crosses go to the opponent and we don't seem to know what to do with the ball in the last third. It looks like a game where we could play for two days and still not score.

fazzyfox Posted 18 March 2018 Posted 18 March 2018 Strange decision by Simpson to step forward and leave Morata, if he stays goalside then he has to beat someone to score or bend his shot around a player, not so much a great run, clever positioning perhaps, Simpson was there but decided to go forwards and leave him.
