yorkie1999 Posted 11 August 2018 Posted 11 August 2018 Think the reality of the prem is dawning on the new boys, Everton look to be all over wolves now, they’ve only got 10 men and they ain’t exactly the quickest in the league
StriderHiryu Posted 11 August 2018 Posted 11 August 2018 Harsh to judge Everton on this performance though. Man sent off, and a number of clearly key players not integrated into the squad yet. The advantage we have over both West Ham and Everton is that they will take to gel and work out the kinks in their systems and play, if they can get it right at all. That provides an opportunity to Burnley and ourselves to take advantage of more familiarity to get more points on the board at a faster rate. I felt that yesterday we played like a team that had way more cohesion and structure than these two currently. Given that Burnley have European football and a small squad I'd also expect them to drop points. So the opportunity is there for us, but we have to take it.
Ted Maul Posted 11 August 2018 Posted 11 August 2018 Hopefully Everton win this. The Wolves love-in over already and all their momentum from last season ended before next week.
Tuna Posted 11 August 2018 Posted 11 August 2018 Listening to the second half on talksport and Stuart Pearce keeps calling Richarlison "Rick Carlson"

StriderHiryu Posted 11 August 2018 Posted 11 August 2018 Got to credit Richarlison and Marco Silva for bringing him in. I said in another thread that I felt Silva would get the best out of him, and though overpriced, given his age he could yet prove to be a good player overall. The manage will have seen his ability every day at Watford and know his potential. Great finish for the second, it was Henry-esque.

davieG Posted 11 August 2018 Posted 11 August 2018 A draw is always a good result especially this early in the season.

foxfanazer Posted 11 August 2018 Posted 11 August 2018 Watched Fulham and Wolves games today and Fulham look the more rounded side, certainly created more than Wolves have

FrankieADZ Posted 11 August 2018 Posted 11 August 2018 certainly could create a few chances against Wolves on the counter i think looking at how theyve have been today

fazzyfox Posted 11 August 2018 Posted 11 August 2018 Macmanaman's biography should be called "From winger to whinger". At least he's not shy of dishing out stick and saying what he sees but it does start to grate after a while.
