According to the Daily Mirror, Leicester City have devised a plan to play Jack Grealish behind Jamie Vardy next season, which could make Everton’s task of signing the striker even more difficult. The Mirror have suggested that Everton have made Vardy their number one target ahead of the summer transfer window. However, getting a deal over the line, looks a lot more difficult, as Vardy is so central to Leicester’s plans. The Foxes hierarchy are excited about the potential partnership that Vardy could form with Grealish next term, if they can sign the attacking midfielder from Aston Villa. And, if Claude Puel does want those two working in tandem, then it will be very difficult for Everton to persuade Leicester to sell. Although Everton are likely to have money to invest this summer, Vardy is now 31, and they will not want to overspend on a player with little re-sale value. And if Vardy remains central to Leicester’s plan, as has been suggested, then Everton may already have to be searching for other strike targets. if they want to part with a summer budget go for it
Leicesterpool Posted 17 April 2018 Share Posted 17 April 2018 (edited) Good player and I think we will be something special in years to come but, is any better than say someone like Albrighton? Probably better Demarai Gray but I can't see him fitting into Leicester's system. Very injury prone too, can play three or four games in a row then suddenly he'll pick up a knock and miss the next ten. StevieB Posted 17 April 2018 Share Posted 17 April 2018 From one of my villa mates goes to every game : He's good mate but not sure if we give him to much praise cuz he come through ranks and is villa fan, he's only scored 3 goals this season and has gone missing in loads of games but. He's also been injured a fair bit. It's a no from me if we are looking to keep the likes of Mahrez, Maguire, Ndidi and build not just on the pitch but also the stadium and training ground then we shouldn't be looking at Grealish, hopefully he's just a name on a list, if at all. Only my opinion

The bloke should be ****ing ashamed of himself. But his wasn't just any old 18 old kid, he was a premier league footballer. Unfortunately they are in the media eye and have to make sacrifices, and at 19 doing " Hippy Crack" they do have impressionable young people following them unfortunately. So yeah i can see why he is called a dickhead, because he was in a privileged position.

sacreblueits442 Posted 18 April 2018 Share Posted 18 April 2018 ......reading between the lines it seems that Grealish has found the big brother he needed in as much as someone he looks up to. The fact that Terry has taken an interest in his developement is for Grealish a second chance to be the player that I am sure he thought he could be. To come away from his present enviroment, without the day to day influence of John Terry may not be at the moment the best move for him. A very good player but prone to injury, lets see in a few years where he is and wish him good luck.

Blue ROI Posted 20 April 2018 Share Posted 20 April 2018 If this was a year ago I wouldnt have been in favour of him at all. Right now though he look to have got his act together somewhat. He could fill the moody 'Gray' role should we sell the latter perfectly. Besides we haven't really got much out of big name signings post 2016. It would be just like us to make a good squad player out of someone very few seem to like.

FoxyPalace.com Posted 21 April 2018 Share Posted 21 April 2018 Ha Ha Ha Ha still cannot stop laughing. This guy is a unknown quantity, He has had a few good games for a top 6 Championship team. Nobody is going to pay anywhere near £40 million for him. £15 Million is a max value and still that would represent a massive gamble on our part. £10 million plus Ulloa maybe doable. Aston Villa need to get real, this valuation is making them the laughing stock of the football league's.
J.Lisemore Posted 21 April 2018 Share Posted 21 April 2018 Villa just letting other clubs know that they don’t need to sell. Wouldn’t read much into the exagrrated transfer fee, if Grealish wants out, he’ll go for a much lower fee.
