Once again. Not the point. People spent a lot of time and money to watch that shower and he showed a complete and utter disregard for those travelling fans.

There's a time and a place for niceties and doing it right in front of your own fans after losing 5-0 is certainly not it.

Like I said earlier, the armchair fans who don't put their time and money into supporting the club obviously won't care. I for one, was seriously pissed off

The guy didn’t spit in your mother’s face. Take a look at the number on the back of his shirt— I think Silva has been through enough grief just to play for us without getting shit for being a nice guy.

I'm sure Silva is a decent fella very good footy player and we have him so lets try to get the best from him .He does have some serious ability albeit in a different league.

We have to think of him as one for our future along with the likes of Iborra Chilwell(if he learns to defend)Gray(if he learns decision making) Harry Diabete.

I know he has not impressed in general so far but ne is a quality player.

Fair enough it wasn't a Palace fan... but it wasn't a Leicester fan either. Whether he likes it or not, he's a Leicester player now and his loyalties should lie with the poor sods who watched another poor performance from him while representing THIS club. Give your shirt to a Leicester fan! Maybe arrange something for the Portuguese fan afterwards

Just how many angry threads can you have on one forum?

I can't even see that Silva has done anything wrong.

Do City have a rule that players cannot give away their shirt after the match? Or Palace / the FA the even more absurd rule that players may not talk to the spectators? What does it matter who the Portuguese fan supports?

If not let it rest.

For myself, I would probably have been a little more discreet.

Silva could have told his compatriot to say that he had got something for him and he should come and find him in the players lounge after the match. And hand over the shirt there and then.

Are you saying Vardy shouldn't have been clapped for giving his shirt to a small kid who had been holding up a sign for ages?

It’s not about giving it to a kid or anything. He was being clapped on his way over he could have also gave it to a palace fan but he was being lauded like he’s done something good yesterday. I’ve seen his apology on insta and it helps but only a little.

Been to Selhurst Park a few times from Cheltenham which is probably a crapper journey than from Leicester and even after a win was a crap trip. This is probably not a major concern for the club and a lot of a nothing story a guy from Portugal giving a shirt to someone from his own country is not the worst thing in the world we pretty much gave their players the freedom of the ground yesterday which should cause more worries
