In hindsight, he probably handed it to him 14 minutes too late.  If it had been in the 76th minute of the game, the team wouldn't have fared any worse with what was to come.

Only to clarify the rumour. I gave my Leicester City FC shirt, my team, to a Sporting C Portugal fan and Portuguese citizen and not to A Crystal Palace supporter.  ( hmm don't believe that for a second)

I knew straight away he gave it to a Sporting fan. Still don't think he should be doing it after a 5-0 defeat, has to be giving it to a Leicester fan. Maybe it would have been acceptable if he gave it to the Portuguese bloke say if we won 2-1.

Uploaded for context. Vardy had just given a young fan his shirt. Silva was walking behind him.. then carried on walking past the entire away end without acknowledging the away fans. Gave his shirt to a guy in a black jacket in the Palace end, no Sporting kit was visible. I don't think it would have been as bad if he waved to us before making a beeline for the guy.
