Don't think I could sing his name but I could probably applaud him at the end - not that I expect to be there by that time.

Could we also do something for old Cyril from Brauny who passed away yesterday. He wasn't a city fan but he passed the stadium regularly on his mobility scooter. Thanks

Wish you’d post more like that rather than the negative stuff. That was genuinely funny ?

There was a picture of Man City fans holding a ‘Get well soon Fergie!’ poster doing the rounds on Twitter. #class for not wanting a man to die.

Not sure if the team are planning a guard of honour, like Burnley did on Saturday.

Such a thing wouldn't feel right at the moment.

Surely he deserves a round of applause after Arsenal pipped us to the title (Well the players thought so) when they beat us at the Emirates in the last minute in February 2016.

I think we should show our respect for wenger at the beginning of the game and stand up as one and applaud him for what he has achieved :appl:, then if he touches the ball during the game boo the fcuk out of him and give him pelters :yahoo:

Ok so this probably belongs in the unpopular opinions thread, but, Arsen Wenger wasn't that great a manager.

He was a bloke who was in the right place at the right time.

He came to England at a time when the money was just entering the game, but the foreign talent hadn't really started arriving.

He used his knowledge of French football to bring in the likes of Viera and Petitt and added them to an already very good, although perhaps under achieving side including the likes of Seaman, that back 4, Bergkamp etc.

He changed the drinking culture of the club with the likes of Adams and Merson getting away with being on the piss every night. This allowed him to get the best out of them.

Now I'm not saying he's a poor manager, he was ahead of his time in this country and brought with him ideas that teams in Europe had been doing for years. As soon as the other teams matched Arsenals professionalism and started looking abroad for talent, his Arsenal team recruited poorly and under achieved.

We should applaud him before the game but to sing ' there's only one Arsene Wenger' is best left to the arsenal fans. we owe him nothing. we showed when we won the league how poor a manager he had become!. at best he has been living on past glories for over a decade now and a few F.A cup wins can't change that. he was great when he first came to these shores but failed to adapt when the competition got fierce and clubs like Man City and Chelsea rose to the fore. he failed to change and freshen things up at arsenal with always keeping the same staff where as Ferguson at  Man Utd was always changing his back room staff and adapting to the changing football landscape and WWenger just simply couldn't. A good competent manager but not a great one.

I know he's never been mister popular to most Leicester fans over the years but I thought tonight at the end was really classy tribute from us. He said a lot of nice things about us in the press conference after. Strange to think that be the last time we shall see him down here. Premiership legend.

From the Arse website:

on the Leicester fans singing ‘one Arsène Wenger’…

I’m grateful for the reaction of the crowd. Overall, I’m frustrated because we lost the game. I think Leicester is a fantastic football club. I managed here when Guppy, Izzet and all these guys played here. They always played in the Premier League, they always had good teams. They always do good work, so it was a nice reception from the fans as well.

Now that is classy. He is gonna be missed IMO.

I would think he’ll go DOF at PSG rather than coach again but apparently people think he won’t be happy without being out on the coaching field. I really do doubt that he will work in the Prem at another club but if he wanted to come to Leicester I’d certainly take him! Because 4th spot and an FA cup wouldn’t have me moaning!

We can appreciate what he's done for English football but we don't owe him anything.
