He's asked to leave 4 times, even if unlikely I don't think it's totally outside the realms of possibility that becomes 6. Regardless, a demotivated Mahrez won't hit anywhere near those output numbers anyway. Best we can hope for is that Pereira can contribute a quarter of Riyad's output and New RW can contribute a further half. 75% won't be too bad, especially if we upgrade our defence so we need to score less.

IF he stays and that’s a big if. He needs to sign a new contract as my biggest worry would be the potential loss of ££ we would lose the closer his contract runs down when he does finally go.

Sorry Sheppy but I have to disagree with you on this as whilst I accept that it is endemic within society, I don't think such behaviour is acceptable and certainly don't think that it should be normalised. I appreciate that's my personal view, however whilst I'd be sad to see any young man in such a state I definitely feel he needs supporting as his behaviour isn't what I'd expect of a practicing professional sports person, let alone one competing at the very highest level. Whether you agree or disagree morally, ultimately he's still an employee of the club, and whilst he's representing it we have a duty of care to look after his wellbeing.

There is as you probably know an attitude that if you don’t play for one of the so called ‘big’ teams, you haven’t played at the highest level, you rarely get recognition for staying and trying to help a team into that position so it rarely happens, that’s why Riyad wants to leave. I think no matter what players we had around him, whilst the commenteriat are saying Riyad should be at a bigger club to reach his full potential then he’ll want to leave, thank god Vardy has seen through this rubbish.........so far

Hey Leicester fans.Just registered to tell you guys a bit about Ricardo.

Everybody is p*ssed off at the Chairman for letting him go , specially for 20M€ - bargain.But we need to sell,as some of you know ,we are under Uefa pressure to make a certain amount of money.

In my opinion and i´ve watched Porto´s games for a very long time,he´s one of the best rb´s we´ve had and we have had amazing right backs in our history.Don´t expect him to score 15 goals per season,he´s very attacking but more towards the line.

He started his career as a right wing , and i think this is why he´s turned into a great right back , very quick , very strong at recovering his defensive positioning.

Whoever is playing on his side ,Mharez , if he plays on the right occasionally , won´t have to worry about defending as much as like i said , Ricardo is so fast at recovering his positioning.

 

Saw someone mentioning Telles , in my opinion he is twice as good as Ricardo , check out his stats.Crazy number of assists.I hope you don´t get this one , but if you do it will probably cost you double.For the ones who fear that Mahrez may leave , i would replace him with Brahimi.Different players  but both skillful as f*** 

 

Seems like i´m here to sell our players :sweating:  but came to read your comments after we sold Ricardo and just thought you´d like to know more about him as it´s always unsure what to expect from a new signing.I´l just say by the end of the season his topic will be full of posts and you will be amazed with his performances.He got MOM a few times this season.

 

It´s always sad to see our good players leave but at same time you just have to be happy they are going to a club that pays 10 times better.

 

Good luck for the next season , any questions , don´t hesitate.

Oh I agree with you it shouldn’t be normalised but I’d like to think he’s not silly enough for it to be a regular thing :)

well confused by the posts that have got simpson checking into rehab after being arrested here. 

 

hes just sloshed on his holidays and actually rambling about the leicester. don’t think people need to be giving it the RIP just yet.

On a side note I’ve been watching City since the late 1970’s and in all that time we’ve not had many good right backs, Pontus springs to mind and Simpson defensively but I need reminding of others, Impey, Sinclair, Ramsey were all ok, never rated Grayson, oh and Gary Mills was good.
