I'd be absolutely sick to lose him but if there was one club we lost him to I think these would be the most tolerable.

If they get 70-85 for Griezmann they might

I reckon they get more than that for him. I reckon he hits 9 figures.

I would genuinely be more gutted if Vardy went than Mahrez.

Mahrez is no doubt one of most talented players ever but Vardy is everything to this team. He epitomises everything that we are about.

Plus I do not believe our owners will let Vardy and Mahrez leave in the same season.

The value we would want for him would be far too high for what clubs would want to pay for a 31 year old striker.

I just hope his head isn't turned, if this is true.

I've said for a long time that Vardy is the most irreplaceable player that we have.

I'd be gutted if he left but at the same time if it was to Atletico then I couldn't begrudge him that move.

Atlético are the only big club that is perfect for Vardy, and you could tell after our champions league game that Simeone was a fan.

I dont think they’ll pay anywhere near the fee we’d want though.

Arghhhhh this is the most difficult decision to make I'd say.

If we sell mahrez or when shall I say and get what 65 -70mill for him.

Then sold vardy for 35 mill no less we could easily end up with a much better team.

However we play to  vardys strengths so this could take a while to mould even with the financial clout we would get for the both of them.

They are selling griezman for 100mill

Of which a good chunk will service the debt for their new stadium.

They also won’t spend that amount of money on a player who can’t be sold again.

Couldn’t imagine going into a new season without Vardy leading the line. Don’t think it’ll happen but he owes us nothing so he’s get my blessing

Going to athletico would mean playing 1-2 seasons at best. It’s a tough call but I think the story is ‘well structured’ as we are probably negotiating an extension. He deserves full support whatever he decides. Has the key to the city

Couldnt take losing him but my god if one player has earnt the right to have one final shot at some big time silverwear then its him and as gutted as id be id be absolutely cheering him on to shove it up'em in Spain.

We'd want a ridiculous price which im not sure they would match...but its obviously no secret that Simeone bloody loves him and his attitude.

If simeone wants to work with vardy  so much, I have a simple solution Diego. Come and manage us.

Vardy is our best ever striker in my lifetime (I'm 36). No way do we let him go.

Hypothetical: what if Mahrez tells the club “I’ll stay...if Vardy goes”. What would you do?

I still don’t see what signing a player we need makes this any more likely than if we hadn’t.
