Great question....

I would really love it to be Vardy, but he is unlikely to get much game time so odds on it being him, are small.

Wilf for sure will make an impact if he is 100% match fit after injury.

I'd love Harry to do well but again, coming back from a slight injury and will he be starter after Cahill's performance in the friendly v Nigeria?

I'm going to go for Iheanacho as an outsider and based on coming into form in the latter games for us.

As a funny i would die, if it turned out to be Benny.

(Big hugs to the others i didnt mention, i hope you all do well, regardless of who you play for)

You just know he's going to do something notable against England, should he play. Whether it is positive or negative remains to be seen.

Would love Shinji to get a couple of goals just because it's Shinji.

Wouldn't put it past Musa to do something sublime and then something equally stupid.

England start the tournament very averagely, prompting Southgate to play Vardy more. He starts banging them in, England go deep into the tournament, Vardy becomes a national cult hero and gets close to the golden boot. Okazaki beats him to it though.

Sterling. Will win the ballon d’or within 5 years

Whoops... just re-read the thread title... If he plays, Vardy will tear it up...

if he plays then it has to be Vardy, given a chance he will bag and at this level its all about taking your chances as they are few and far between, as we know Kanes ratio isn't great so when the time comes Vardy will have to step up and become the hero

Kasper. The big games bring the best out of him.

Nigeria have a tough group, otherwise I'd have gone for Ndidi who is one of the best young CM's in the world. He'll have Messi in his back pocket ;)

I think Vardy will score, but only have sub appearances to his name. I think we will make the quarters this year but will lose to whoever we play then. Any of the teams from Poland's group are beatable, and though Iceland did a number on us, England's records against Poland and Colombia are very good, who we are most likely to play.

I would love Denmark to have a game thats goes to peno's and Kasper do some crazy saves to win them the game... that would do so much for his confidence (not that i think he lacks any) but would be a great plus for us, having a impact breaking goalkeeper, going into the start of next season.

Plus i  Kasper..
