Whenever, wherever
Maddison and you together
Diabate's far and you'll be near
On the right wing Shaqir(i)
Step over,  step under
No more Mama Diouf blunders
You can put Jamie Vardy clear
For a great deal Shaqir(i)

he is still 26,i thought he was like 30

12 is really good price, even 20 would be okay even tho am not big fan of him

Absolutely my thought - I couldn’t believe he was 26, I had him at a Cambiasso sort of age.

Would love to sign Shaqiri for that sort of money. We’d finally have someone who could score from a free-kick!

Just bloody buy him aswell as F Anderson, let’s stop poncing about, we can finish above arsenal next year if we get this right ??

Might be being naive but can't imagine Liverpool will sign Shaq as well as Fekir unless Salah is off.

Can't say that I was impressed by his posturing infront of us after scoring last season.

Just because we called him a fat bastard.

Tbf, we wouldn't mind him doing that if he scored for us though.

We can’t complain too much with some of Vardy’s antics lol

Not one of my favourite players. Doesn't seem to be in the the game for a full 90 & a bit of a prima donna.

He has talent, no doubt about that, but not consistent enough or hard working enough for me.

I know the same could probably be said of Mahrez, but Mahrez is a far better player and will win you far more games with his magic than Shaqiri will in my opinion.

Have to say though, in todays market, he does look a tempting gamble.

I wouldn’t mind us signing him and even if it don’t work out then we would be able to make profit on selling him on as would definitely go for more than £12.5 million so would help with the FFP at least

We aren't going to replace Mahrez. Best we can do is improve as many of the other positions as we can- Shaqiri, Maddison and another quality winger for around what we're getting for Mahrez (maybe a bit more) would be good business.

He has got ability, won titles at a Big club in Germany, has produced the goods in the prem, we should all be over this signing. His positives outweigh his negatives for me.

Good on the set pieces, something that’ll be lacking if Mahrez does leave

Yet, in a team full of big units he failed to deliver consistently, where reasonably the expectation should been a resounding success.

I've always rated him, and would be very happy to see him join us. I wouldn't mind if he brought Jack Butland with him, either
