Fitness is a big factor in these games but so is tactics, shape, understanding of Puels philosphy, becoming a more gelled unit.... etc.

Which of the starting 11 today to you expect to start against Utd?  I genuinely would put money on it being 2 maximum.  For me that represents quite solid, fact base evidence that this is not particularly a game we are looking to win, nor one that is a solid indicator of how we will play when the season starts.  I may be wrong, we may be absolutely shite come the start of the season but I imagine the next friendly will be more of an indication and will be a team closer to our strongest 11.  I think he is giving minutes to as much of the squad as possible before refining slightly in next friendly.  Then again I am an annoyingly positive poster on here and I have little to no actual coaching experience so if I were you I would listen to about 17% of what I tend to say.  X
