Very one footed, and didnt track Shaw for their goal. Should have brought Albrighton on in my opinion.  Having said that, it was only half hour and a new start and a new league for him, so he needs more time before he can truly be judged.

He did look a bit like “a pound shop Mahrez” as someone put before but it’s very early to judge. With this formation and system the most defining thing for our wide forwards are the collaboration with the full backs, our 10 and our 9.  Gray was  at times fabulous today and it’s because his play with Chilly and Madders was on point. Thus Gazell doesn’t have to like for like replace Mahrez (though it would be nice!) but it’s going to be his relationship with Ricardo, Madders and Vardy / Nacho that determines if he’s an asset or not to the team. He’s going to need at least 10 games before you can judge IMO.

Give him some times, he had not a crazy season at Monaco, he will not transform into a beast in 20 minutes of premier league, in a new country, speaking a new language, for a away games against man u. He need to build confidence, he seemed kind of lost. Ricardo is way better at right back, hope he will stay in this position.
