on first half reflection we cant be too unhappy. other than the penalty it should be 0 - 0 with us the better team. but im just unsure of where the goals will vome from. vards on in the second half i rekon

Ok reasons to be cheerful, we're only down to a brain fart from a player that won't be a regular starter once the new boys bed in. We've looked pretty good otherwise, just lacking the end product

Penalty aside we were very very good first half.  I can feel an equaliser coming and i dont mean Ewar Woowar or Denzel :-)

Just as I thought, our approach play would be good, but we would really fail to cause the keeper alot of problems.  I still think were in it, Gray looks our best option.

 

Amartey looks poor, that handball cant have done his confidence any good.

Silva hasn’t been amazing but he’s been steady for me, we need this guy to come good this season tho, think he could be a key player!! Come on lad!!

Man Utd have been poor, they still have many gears, we need a quick goal, otherwise you can sense they will up the ante and score

I thought we were the better team in every department but one moment of stupidity has cost us. Amartey looks like the weak link and Silva’s distribution not the best. Madders, Chilly, Gray and Ricardo all look great!

 

I’d swap Amartey for Gazell and shift Ricardo to right back. 

 

If anything on the balance of play we should be one up.

I'm pleased that we didn't go to absolute shit after that early **** up. I had visions of the last hammering we took at Old Trafford when that happened inside 90 seconds. We kept our composure well.

Dominated possession, created more chances. We are playing Man Utd away and we are the better team. At least a lot of you have found your new scapegoat- Danny Amartey. Give the lad a break.

Possession is overrated, what pleases me is that we aren't, generally, treating it like a hot potato and are thinking quickly.

 

I don't want passing for passing's sake but to use the ball well when we have it.
