Reckon he should have a statue before he finishes playing to be honest. Never thought I’d love a City player more than Walshy. The goals, the work rate , the giving jip to the away fans when he scores, the chat shit get banged chavvy persona. Love the guy, he’s up there with my wife for me to be honest

Mad to think he nearly gave up after his first season with us. None of this would have happened without JV

Pearson was definitely the right manager for him at the time

Kante gets the adulation that he was a freak and a phenomenon that helped us achieve the unthinkable and then departed as quickly as he arrived and delivered. Mahrez was just outrageous and didn't really fit the stereotype of a Leicester player and is genuinely one of the most gifted players in football. Vardy, however is simply colossal. He's the ultimate footballing story, nobody can get near him in recent times for what he's achieved. He's also got a style of play that no other striker in the land is as good as him. He's a joy to watch, makes me proud to support Leicester and I hope he's here for another 5-10 seasons.

He's a legend in every sense. A complete one off. What a man.

The good news - He's getting a statue.

The bad news - It depicts him like this:

I’m sure he started his first good season for us looking like this. The cornrows made him the player he has become.

Just imagine if we sold him to WBA for £5m in our first PL Season.

We would never of won the league, they would most likely still be in the Prem.

Legend, so much love for the guy. His story from non league to World Cup semi finalist is just incredible and never fails to amaze.

Jamie Vardy is Mr Leicester City. When ever i speak with online gamers or meet someone abroad and the topic turns to football and i tell them my team is LCFC, the reply is always the same. 'Ahh Jamie Vardy'

My favourite player ever.

Looking forward to the movie, i hope it and gives him the justice he deserves.

I hope he retires here rather than cashes in on a move abroad. He can then join the coaching team and basically become the new and improved Birch.

Birch is new and improved!

It’s so difficult to pick your favourite Vardy moment. I have loads

QPR goal in the promotion season

5-3 against United

West brom in the great escape (still gives me goosebumps)

Volley against Liverpool

All of his record breaking goals, especially the United one

Goal against spurs last season

Volley over the shoulder against West Brom last season

Hes just that sort of player that produces the big moments

Jamie Vardy has been a central figure in our club's most glorious moments.  He didn't leave when he could which is unusual in modern football.

He should be regarded as a club legend and I only hope in a few seasons time when his speed and ability drops off with age that he is treated with the respect he deserves.  I look at some of the comments about our title winning captain Wes with disbelief.

We're incredibly lucky to have him. You think back on cult hero English strikers who actually won silverware in the Premier League era and the list is short.
