Trying to be a contrarian for the sake of it

To win this league we must get 90+ points. We are up against the reigning European champions and the juggernaut that is Pep  Guardiola.

Yeah but before the season started, we were still outsiders. We were absolute no hopers in 2015, cannon fodder.
Nothing will outstrip that from us now, not even European Champions.

Exactly. Plenty believe we won it because others didn't perform, if we manage to overhaul Liverpool that excuse goes out of the window.

That achievement is remarkable because nobody at all expected it, this would be astonishing in a different way given Liverpool's record in the past 18 months and also Man City's over two years.

If my memory serves me correct we were still in the champions league after spuds had been eliminated from both the champions league and europa cup. How embarrassing is that.

They should take the word fighting out of the name of the Spurs forum .

It's BBC HYS comments. They're literally the most retarded on the internet. Why even read it let alone react.

There's nothing like answering a rhetorical question …

I’m an ocean away and know few people IRL who give a damn about the PL.  So the only “feel” I get for the temperature of fans is from FT, and occasionally other clubs’ forums.  Not a broad slice.

I’m not inclined to read hundreds of pages of HYS trolling and brain-dead comments.  But checking out the “highest rated” tab shows that over and over, the biggest upvotes go to intelligent comments cheering LCFC’s progress.  Not the ABL (Anybody But Liverpool) crowd, whose comments get lots of thumbs down.  More like the “stick it to the Sky Six” silent majority.  And I’m glad to get the feeling it is a majority, and once again solidly behind us.

Why are these plonkers picking on Madders? Recovering from illness by watching your team in a casino by the poker table - how could one be more sportsmanlike!

I reckon Guardian are just full of Spuds and didn't fancy his backpacklol

Don't quite get that comment, Leicester born and bred and was going down the football (with my dad) at the turn of the 80's and have been a supporter my whole life being a season ticket holder for many years and frustrated now that I can't get one. The issue I think is the young lads 13/14 lads can't get a ticket last minute like you used to be able to do when I was that age, it was those midweek night games that we went to last minute that got me hooked. This is why I think over capacity is required when considering expansion

Let me elaborate.

You put forward a suggestion that is "stating the bleeding obvious" imo, hence my jokey comment of "welcome to leicester", as to have not realised this is already planned and has been discussed at length by both this message board and the board of lcfc.

If you were a lifelong supporter, one would expect you to know that this was not your original radical idea and to quote a certain Watford manager.

If you were not aware of this, "you are either a little bit dim, or have had your head in the sand.

Are you an ostrich?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣😘

Am I missing something? I was referring to the three constituencies that represent the city, which all voted Labour...

Any reason the LCFC twitter account follows Katie Boulter (tennis player)?

Isn't she a Leicester fan?

He doesn't get what he means by 'the real her'. Neither do I. Nothing to do with Katie Boulter

Stringer is talking about his late mother .....  he clearly still interacts with her in his mind but it’s not rocket science that he misses the real her’ is it ??????

I may be wrong but i believe Stringer's mum had problems with alcohol  addiction. I'm assuming by "real her" he means the her when not drunk and without the challenges of alcohol addiction and how that changes a person.

It's not a weird post at all, the man is still troubled by the loss of his mother and all the issues surrounding her maybe still cause upset. He gets stick on here, from me as well, but this shouldn't be one be takes any shit for.

You're right.  I agree.

So back ot, how do you solve the problem with the left wing?

We need to be cutting into the centre. I'm sorry if it's not popular but we just aren't getting crosses into the box at the moment.

Unfortunately I think we have to play a more narrow formation and move the left winger more central
