The desire to make your mark in the face of all common sense is surely the sign of a poor poor manager and weak man.

..... and egotist but then he'd had accolades thrown at him by the FA and the media to develop his illusions of grandeur.

I don't know why but it also really irritated me that he wore those naff LCFC gloves, alarms bells should have been ringing very early on.

Leicester City player Christian Fuchs has recorded an empty JFK airport as he heads back to England ahead of an expected return to training.

Premier League clubs are beginning to recall players to training grounds, while maintaining social distancing guidelines, including Arsenal and Tottenham.

Players with families abroad were allowed to spend part of the lockdown back home but are now returning to these shores, with clubs reporting giving out 48-hour notices to travel back.

Fuchs is among them, having spent time with the Fox Soccer Academy in New York and training with his family and pets.

Ahead of jumping on his flight, Fuchs posted a video of an eriee-looking JFK airport.

Premier League clubs will again meet on Friday to further discuss options to conclude the season, with neutral venues being considered.

Leicester City's King Power Stadium is reportedly one of eight stadiums in the frame to host matches

No private charter. Cheapskates.

Funny to listen back, can't Goldstein, but it makes me laugh when people justify Rodgers' time at Liverpool by saying "he nearly won the league". Nearly lol

Contrast this to Claudio's first season, who looked at what he had, watched, made a few tweaks (bringing in Fuchs/Simpson to sure up the back) and the rest is history. Taylor obviously felt threatened by the senior players, decided that Stan needed to be taken own a peg or two, and systematically dismantled the core a very decent squad, simply because he thought he knew better and wanted to prove a point. Wrong man, wrong time and we had to suffer years of misery as a result.  At least Holloway had a sense of humour.

Watching back the Everton game last night with sky commentary - in the second half and we are well on top physically and Alan smith says they Leicester players are really on it’ ...........and Tyler replies ‘well they’re on something’ ...... it wasn’t meant in that PED way but you can understand why fans of the top six clubs get the idea ........

Shivam can shove it.

We really shouldn't get smug.

Forget the 19/20 season, it's gone forever. We finished 3rd in that and that's great but it's worth **** all.

A new 2020 mini season is about to start and literally all bets are off. Nobody has ever seen this before, nobody knows what to expect. Home away advantage is out of the window, previous form is out of the window, there's more subs, there's been a huge break, anything could happen.

We could fail to even make the Europa Legaue. None of us have any idea what's going to happen.

This game was really toys out the pram. I’m still unsure how they didn’t get at least 1 player red carded.

Can you imagine what VAR would do to it.

It was great to watch though. VAR would ruin a piece of history.
