Heart says 7th/8th minimum. The Owners will want this too. Head tells me that we could well sleepwalk into a relegation battle very soon.

Mid table and to give the big boys a bloody nose now and again will do me.

But more than anything I want us to win the FA Cup so we’ve completed football. I really hope we take it seriously this season.

Top 8 with cup final. will be good for this year.

Top 6 is too hard and unrealistic.

7th will be tought place to compete. You need luck as well to get there so don't made it minimum.

We sign lot of young blood in pereira, soyuncu, madison, while nurturing the youth we wre already have in the 1st team like maguire, chilwell, gray, mendy, ndidi, nacho

While player like gezzal and Evans also need time to gel with the team

Roughly 7 or 8 of our player aren't playing together for long. So I don't think theres any reason to force them playing consistently at every match. That's why I never expect top 7.

The only problem is we might not able to hold maguire without European competition. He's 25! So we need to win cup

I expect 12th or thereabouts. Defence looks even more porous this season and despite Maddison looking the part, we likely won't get the same output in terms of goals and assists from him as we did from Mahrez.

Need another quality winger or a step up from Gray to be top half imo.

I expect us to be:

Top ten.

Stubborn, hard to beat.

Working harder than any other team to press and close down.

We clearly don't have bags of incredibly gifted technical footballers, even after the latest round of recruitment, but we're supposed to be a fit and hard working squad so play to those strengths.

I know we'll struggle to break down the more defensive sides and I know we'll struggle to keep out some of the most creative and that's fine. I don't care if we don't finish top six, I don't expect us to qualify for Europe, I just expect us to graft like **** for ninety minutes a match and not give away sloppy goals.

I just don't really see Puel accomplishing any of that. He does half the time, which somehow makes things more frustrating when he doesn't.

This is my point, we really aren’t going to be hard to beat. We will hit 3/4 past some teams and then roll over like yesterday against others.

This season I need to see Puels on pitch methods and tactics bear fruit. If I don’t see a plan B beyond 4231 then I want to see him sacked and somebody else appointed. Next year I’d like to see us push for a Europa place via a cup or top 7 position and pick up a quality winger and central midfielder in the summer/January window. This year I’ll be patientish until Christmasish. Then I’m going to start publicly calling for his head on a pike. I don’t mind transitions. I don’t mind being patient and backing a manager but let’s be honest, it’s all a bit deflating right now and bar a few games last season we were putting round pegs in square holes continually under his management. And I’m tired now of the naivety of a footballing style without the personnel to play it effectively.

For me, top ten looking to put a run together for 7th, 6th if Arsenal have a major meltdown ?. Realistically we are a mid table side with some very good players. We are not going to achieve what we did in 2016 any time soon if ever, and yes we had a poor window after we won the title, but we were never going to be able to compete for champions league calibre players because we won 1 league title. It’s a young side, which needs tweaking and time to develop, so I’m happy to see how we develop this year. Plenty worse than us in this league!!

Expect: Top ten finish, to be entertained.

Wish: FA Cup win or be challenging for Europe.

From what I've watched so far this season have little hope of achieving too much.
