It seems unlikely for him to play against arsenal. He's not impressed at u23 level, and debut against big team, well no way. 

Evans should be play against both west ham and arsenal and soyuncu might start in cup game as debut.

Plays Evans for his experience but gets skinned by the Arsenal forwards for pace..fans on his back, plays Soyuncu to compete with the pace but gets skinned on his lack of Prem experience..fans on his back.....cracking set of fans we have.

Pretty much sure that’s  how it is for Puel with every decision he makes with some fans . Play Morgan he’s shit get slated drop Morgan he’s one of our Prem winners get slated . Players on fat wages not up to premier league standard and not playing get slated , get rid of said players or tell them they no longer have a future get slated.Drop Fuch’sc get slated play Chillwell  get slated  and so on and so on

I’m fully expecting Evans to play with Soyuncu as sub for both games. Soyuncu may even get a little taste in either game based on Claude’s latest comments about him being ready. It would be a brave decision to throw him straight in against Arsenal, although he is a £19m international defender. 

 

Unless we have two clean sheets or two outstanding defensive performances, it seems likely that Morgan will come back in after suspension. Although maybe less likely given the manner of his sending off v Everton (where he was struggling) and the impact it had on the result. I think this might see Claude try and carry on without Morgan unless the CB pairing has majorly underperformed in both games.

Evans will play I suspect and that's probably the right call. Soyuncu likely to feature in the cup against Southampton I guess and then we can see.... As for benkovic, whilst I'm not saying he's a good player, let's not forget the league he's playing in.... There's not many decent strikers in that league

As long as Soyuncu is in the squad I’m happy. Hate the thought of Puel not wanting to even try a £20mill international. Not sure throwing him in at the Emirates is a great idea though, unless we finally go three at the back, which isn’t gonna happen.
