I watch other supposed top goalkeepers for top teams, De Gea, Mendy, Alisson, Lloris... and I wouldn’t trade Kasper for any. The only goalkeeper I’d swap him for in this league is Ederson. Kasper is top quality.

Shows the leadership and way he's so critical to us. Whilst not the best keeper in the world, he's one of them. Not saying he's above criticism but even if I'm super objective/empathic just cannot understand why we have fans who constantly want a new keeper.

Will be his 408th appearance tomorrow, moving him to joint 8th on the all time list for us and likely to move up to 6th before the end of the season. What an absolute legend he has been for our club

He could make the Premier League team of the season.

In front of Alisson?

Can see him being our manager one day

If it was done as it should be it would be a toss up between Kasper and Martinez, however, we all know they’ll just give it to Ederson.

Edit: I quoted the wrong quote, should have replied to someone saying he should be in the team of the season.

I know he was here today, but no mention of him by the announcer/no chants for him…

And I don’t think he came out onto the pitch for some reason.

I noticed that too...he wasn't on the pitch

Still no love lost with the club

Will be annoyed he didn’t get any form of farewell  too

Thought we’d at least sing his song a bit. I assume not many knew he was here which is why…

And it didn’t help his name weren’t read out, or he didn’t come on the pitch (even though he wasn’t in the directors box at the end - only person in there was Rudders.)

Yes I am sure Rudders wanted to stay well out of the way.

I had no idea he was there.

Wonder why he chose not to get on the pitch.

He's never had an official send off so maybe he thought him being announced and on the pitch would detract from Vardy's day.

Sad how it's ended between the club and Kasper, 11yrs and all those trophies, yet he just left without a goodbye. Even today he didn't come on the pitch.

Fell out with the club and in particular the twat that is now Celtic manager.

I imagine he had some parting words with Rudkin.

The same manager he chose to join at Celtic?

Good point tbf.

Maybe it was more about Rudkin than the dwarf?

Good point tbf. I can't think what his motivation might have been. CL maybe?

I’ll be in the minority but I never fully took to Kasper as one of our own / band of brothers type

He was absolutely brilliant for us, but personally always felt that Kasper was about Kasper and had an earlier opportunity come calling, he’d have gone.

No hate towards him at all, but I still think more fondly of Wes, Fuchs, Shinji etc

Actually feel a tw@t for posting the above tbh

Can never forget his immediate reactions following the tragic helicopter accident and the obvious club legend and man he is.

Was more just about how he came across on the pitch at times and maybe a bit more distant than others that had bonded
