mozartfox Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Top looks sad. Must be terrible seeing that empty seat. Let’s do this for Vichai.
Beechey Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Good performance so far, just missing the cutting edge. Etheridge kept them in it.
justfoxes Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Lucky not to get a card then !! Really hoping our second half super performance appears after the break !!??
Langston Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Changes needed, we shouldn't be dropping points here come full time.
Carl the Llama Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Arter's a lucky boy, if Wilf's in line with the challenge that's a straight red all day. To not even give a yellow strikes me a bit odd, he had no control there.
justfoxes Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 1 minute ago, pSinatra said: Arry Arter is a cvnt The ref will be not so lenient next time if he goes in like that again but it deserved a yellow at least !!
Guest Kopfkino Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 There's something wrong with your play when your central midfielder is asking for it off the goalkeeper whilst stood behind him.
pSinatra Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 A lot worse than Delph's challenge Not even a yellow. How Arter completes a full 90 minutes ever?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 63% possession 10 shots 5 on target... Cardiff 0 on target...
The Doctor Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Two footed, studs up, over the ball. Not even a yellow
Farrington fox Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Gonna be tight, hopefully just edge it 1 nil.
Jaspa Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Wreckless from Arter, should've been a yellow. Bizzare some refs seem to avoid giving cards in the first half. It felt like a draw to me all through the day. They've improved from when we played them at theirs, bar a spanking by a resurgent Man U they've been picking up points recently - they counter quickly and directly and we find it hard to find ways through defensive tactics. Let's hope we sneak one in and I can't see them getting back into it.

SheppyFox Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Dominating thus far, comfortable win on the way.
Chester Dontlie Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 We need more Qualiteee... Vince on for Ndidi to unlock the midfield, Ghezzal for Albrighton (looks laboured and we need him well rested for the Everton game) and last but not least Oka for some urgency and to get the goal We should be battering this lot with the players we have

Detroit Blues Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Cardiff's keeper is keeping them in this game. Another half with the same effort and we should win this 1-nil.

Crinklyfox Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Warnock's in there now telling them more of the same and they could even nick this. We haven't had any really decent chances despite the domination. Looking like Burnley Mk II unless we can step up a gear.
Dames Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 We should be beating these really. We really seem to struggle against lower teams and the excuse about ‘what can you do when they stick 11 men behind the ball’ is really starting to wear thin. Puel has earned some credit the way the team has performed the the last 2 games but he really needs to be earning his money against the ‘lesser’ teams. He needs to let the team take more chances and be a little risky against these teams, the slow patient build up gives them too much time to close the space and adjust defensively. This safety first approach is why so many people have lost their patience with him.
BACKO Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Looking a little unsure defending set pieces, but overall a very dominant performance first half with Etheridge keeping them in it! Hopefully Vards has a full game in him and we can provide him with some better service 2nd half.
SecretPro Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Cardiff really are a horrible team to play against, so difficult to break down which is a credit to them. Think we are doing reasonably well, just need to sharpen up the passing and move the ball a bit quicker. Wouldn't change anything just yet.
