SystonFox Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Make a proper banner then not felt tip and a4. Shocking
Tielemans63 Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Maybe the steward was embarrassed by just what a pathetic effort that was

Sir Shep Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Got to say how brave the steward was, approaching that dear old lady and taking away her tiny little banner, that told her, don’t fvck with Puel!
Bourbon Fox Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Seriously though, taking her sign away is bullshit

People can voice their opinions etc....blah blah We were 7th in the league, 7 points off 6th begore this game. It's frankly embarrassing seeing things like this. Before we'd have laughed at clubs sacking their managers being in this position, now we've reached that point
Itsthejoeker Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Say what you want in a public place, freedom of speech doesn’t apply on private property.

Nalis Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Or maybe the steward forgot to bring his own 'Puel Out' banner and took hers instead?
Kopic Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Just now, MPH said: why is it different when it’s a chant then? or a boo? The stewards can't confiscate hundreds of people.

Guest MattP Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Don't know what's worse, bringing that to a game while we are 7th, the fact it looks like she knocked it up thirty seconds or the steward actually taking it away. Embarrassing all round.

SemperEadem Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 The club have plenty of previous with this kind of stuff.

Fox92 Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 I'm not surprised someone made a Puel Out sign and I'm not surprised the club won't allow it.
Guest MattP Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Although - While the stewards are picking on little old ladies with signs and not me with a hipflask I'm going to turn a blind eye to this.
StriderHiryu Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 Yeah this is complete bollocks. Whilst I think it's ridiculous to hold up a banner like that when we were in 7th at the start of the day and indicative of the entitled feeling of many of our fans, forcibly removing someone from expressing their opinion cannot be defended. If it was racist, derogatory or inflammatory, then that would be a different story. But if someone wants to hold up a sign like that, they should have every right to.
TrentFox Posted 12 January 2019 Posted 12 January 2019 NFP would never have stood for that crap. He’d have pulled a knife on her. Feckin’ OAPs.
