weller54 Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 Barnes in please. Attack minded line up please Claude. But I'm not holding my breath. 1-2 defeat.
Nicolo Barella Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 We shall shithouse them, they will look the better team. 2-1 victory, reverse of the reverse fixture.
TheSomersetFox Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 I’d stick with the 2 DM’s, maybe go 433 and bring Choudhury in for Maddison/Gray. They’ll come at us which is good for us. Dangerous side but think we’ll just edge this one
Farrington fox Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 You just can’t predict what side Claude will put out. Surely the back 4 will be unchanged. Is it Mendy or Choudry? Albrighton or Barnes?
elvisfmcfly Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 Morgan will be back I'm sure. Not slating him btw just saying him and Maguire can't play together.
lgfualol Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 Same team for me butbI think he will go 3 in midfield with someone constantly fouling pogba. Burnley managed a point. Think we can too.
kingfox Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 Schmeichel Ricardo - Evans - Maguire - Chilwell Mendy - Choudhury - Ndidi Albrighton - Vardy - Maddison Choudhury will have Pogba in his pocket. 2-1 win.
Corky Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 Unlike the Cardiff match, having another top side after a positive result against one might suit us. There will be an expectation we'll lose and hopefully we'll play as we've done in these games for most of the season, barring Tottenham.
Hammo Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 The good thing is that everyone - players and fans - should go to the game on Sunday with a spring in their step after last night's result (and performance). If we can avoid having to chase the game and, better still, score first, it could be a memorable day. Vardy hasn't scored at home from open play since September. I've a sneaking suspicion this could be his time to shine again. Fingers crossed...

David Hankey Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 Looking forward to this one, let's hope we don't gift them a goal early on (or at all).

Dont be daft we all know that will happen. At home in defensive mode against United we will definitely give up the first goal. I say 2-2.
rachhere Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 Feeling good about this one. It's about time that Solskjaer experienced his first defeat. This run of games feels like the Christmas fixtures all over again - looks an impossible task on paper, but we are going to come out of it positively.

RowlattsFox Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 For me only question will be Maddison or Barnes/Choudhury depending on how he wants to go about it. I'd probably stick with Maddison.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 Our speciality, playing against top 6 teams who come and attack, means we can keep defence shape and counter attack and we'll probably play well win, lose or draw. However that said it's a home game and everyone knows Claude Puels sides play better in away games so not holding my breath. Heroic 2-3 defeat will buy him some more time and goodwill to fritter away against shit sides.

Thought it was obvious but my apologies. In response to the gifting goal comment it's pretty obvious that we have been scored on early in many games this season and i don't see how that will suddenly stop. It's almost an expectation right now. My positivity is clearly on display with the 2-2 scoreline against a clearly rejuvenated side. Lets hope we can draw or take 3 points!
TheLittleBigMan Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 90 minutes of zonal marking. No pressing but solid at the back. We nick a goal early in the second half and finish it off with a backs to the wall display. 1-0
Genesis1 Posted 31 January 2019 Posted 31 January 2019 I'm having sleepless nights that Morgan walks back into the team.
