As we are entering a new era with a new Manager, I think we all could make a bit more effort to enhance the atmosphere when supporting our team. I can't remember ever hearing a song or chant for Claude Puel, probably because of his dour persona and boring football which never endeared him to the majority of our fans. We should all get behind Brendan Rodgers and hopefully he will be successful and popular at our club.

 

Here is my suggestion as an easy chant to get going and sing in support of BR. It is also a dig at the bitter Celtic fans!

 

To the tune of Rebel Rebel by David Bowie:

 

Treble Treble, he's left you behind
Treble Treble, he won't change his mind
Treble Treble, it's time to let go
Brendan, we love you so!

not a bad suggestion but personally I would go with those on the new chants thread based on the pretenders:-

Brendan walked 500 miles

and he would walk 500 more

etc

 

Simple, catchy and sticks one right up the miserable celts with short memories

The only song I know with Roger in it is Jolly Roger by Adam and the Ants.  

 

From Kings Of The Wild Frontier, the first album I ever bought don't you know, (loved that record),  but I digress...

 

For any other saddos that might know the tune it could be adapted thus:

We have a few moron fans like all clubs.. but i think you find some of the coments on the feed were just as likely posted by a certain other glasgow clubs supporters who are far less classless than the fifa best fans in the world winners and also uefa fair play supporters winners

Agreed. It would be embarrassing singing about Celtic. 

 

Plus, all this bollocks will blow over in a couple of weeks and will be forgotten about. We want a chant that will last.

So just steal one off another club or appropriate a generic chant and substitute the words for some even crapper ones. That's what we usually do.
