Sturridge

It's a funny one, clearly talented but made of glass.

It would be a no brainer if you could get him a pay as you play type deal but I don't think he'll be looking for that, especially as he's be behind vards in the pecking order.

Therefore, it's 100% a west ham type signing. Overpaid and never plays

are you in the right thread ??

this isn’t Andy Carroll ?????

Knew someone was going to say something along those lines.

Comments still stand though, he does win a decent amount of headers.

During the season works out about 107 minutes per header. Bargain.

Wouldn’t mind him on a pay-as-you-play basis, when he’s fit he has a great goal scoring record and could be a great super-sub.

Also a good player to have when teams sit back and defend, he has a habit of nicking goals in tight spaces.

But only if he’s fit.

He might even be attracted to us as we have Rodgers, even if he’s second fiddle to Vardy.

Good striker and I think he’d fit in well with the players but I wouldn’t fancy him here on a big wedge playing as back up for Vards. He’ll want more than that and it wouldn’t be worth it for us.

Could him and Vards play together? Maybe, but i’d much rather a specialist wide man if we’re sticking with the same formation next season.

Daniel Sturridge being released at the end of the month.

Would you welcome him at Leicester as a back up for Vardy?

no no and no again

Didn't realise he was out of contract this summer.

If his wages are reasonable and the contract is for a year or two then it's fine with me.

Think he would be a great signing on a free transfer. If it doesn’t work out, we have only lost out on wages, and could maybe sell on for a small fee.

Thing is that if he came he'll want a massive signing on fee similar to a transfer fee. And big waves.

He's good at those to be fair

For a freebie can see him coming on a pay as you play contract and If we could keep this guy fit then just imagine the Vardy Sturridge partnership up front when BR decides to play them together, Even if we get 10 games a season and he bags 10-15 goals then win win ??

Just needs to get himself a more up to date goal celebration instead of that attempted breakdance seagull wing waving thing he does !!:bounce:

I doubt he'd double/treble Vardy's strike rate.
