RobHawk Posted 2 June 2019 Posted 2 June 2019 It's a funny one, clearly talented but made of glass. It would be a no brainer if you could get him a pay as you play type deal but I don't think he'll be looking for that, especially as he's be behind vards in the pecking order. Therefore, it's 100% a west ham type signing. Overpaid and never plays

car1os Posted 4 June 2019 Posted 4 June 2019 Wouldn’t mind him on a pay-as-you-play basis, when he’s fit he has a great goal scoring record and could be a great super-sub. Also a good player to have when teams sit back and defend, he has a habit of nicking goals in tight spaces. But only if he’s fit. He might even be attracted to us as we have Rodgers, even if he’s second fiddle to Vardy.
TheSomersetFox Posted 4 June 2019 Posted 4 June 2019 Good striker and I think he’d fit in well with the players but I wouldn’t fancy him here on a big wedge playing as back up for Vards. He’ll want more than that and it wouldn’t be worth it for us. Could him and Vards play together? Maybe, but i’d much rather a specialist wide man if we’re sticking with the same formation next season.
Happy Fox Posted 4 June 2019 Posted 4 June 2019 I think he would be a quality signing personally you don’t get high praise from Klopp if you are shit
Fox992 Posted 4 June 2019 Posted 4 June 2019 Daniel Sturridge being released at the end of the month. Would you welcome him at Leicester as a back up for Vardy?
sheffield_fox Posted 4 June 2019 Posted 4 June 2019 Would be fine on pay as you play. Can't afford another dud striker.
Foxxed Posted 4 June 2019 Posted 4 June 2019 Didn't realise he was out of contract this summer. If his wages are reasonable and the contract is for a year or two then it's fine with me.
norwichfox Posted 4 June 2019 Posted 4 June 2019 not for me thanks, but I have no control over who we recruit or my bladder.
Big Dave Posted 4 June 2019 Posted 4 June 2019 Think he would be a great signing on a free transfer. If it doesn’t work out, we have only lost out on wages, and could maybe sell on for a small fee.
Grebfromgrebland Posted 4 June 2019 Posted 4 June 2019 Thing is that if he came he'll want a massive signing on fee similar to a transfer fee. And big waves.
ARM1968 Posted 4 June 2019 Posted 4 June 2019 The glass hammer - as my Liverpool supporting son calls him.

justfoxes Posted 4 June 2019 Posted 4 June 2019 For a freebie can see him coming on a pay as you play contract and If we could keep this guy fit then just imagine the Vardy Sturridge partnership up front when BR decides to play them together, Even if we get 10 games a season and he bags 10-15 goals then win win ??

sm1 Posted 4 June 2019 Posted 4 June 2019 No thanks, we've got enough shit strikers with Nacho and Slim.

I doubt he'd double/treble Vardy's strike rate.
