Gamble92 Posted 13 April 2019 Posted 13 April 2019 I'd rather have Dean back. He'd play more games too
Dan Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 Inevitable link. We could do worse but we could do better as well given his injury record and likely high wages.
Matt Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 I was waiting for this link. Sicknote - check. Lazy - check. High Wages - check. It's a massive no for me, unfortunately I think it's nailed on to happen though.
JayT - Always A Fox! Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 I know he’s been injured a fair bit and he’s had a bad attitude at times but the lad has quality. Possibly had his best season under Rogers and he was absolutely deadly during that period. He’s better than our “back up” strikers and I think IF he can stay fit then get him in.
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 According to my Liverpool supporting brother in law he’s been fit all season and done well whenever he’s been played. not selected at Liverpool due to combination of playing style and this betting probe. If we could get him on a low wage and incentive based contract he’s worth a risk. Was abundantly clear on Friday that we had little goal threat from the bench and he would solve that problem. hopefully BR will ask him to have a word with lallana/shakiri while he’s at it!
AKCJ Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 He'd be a good option, no denying that. Trouble is he's so injury prone.
FoxesFourLife Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 I would rather give Slimani another chance when teams just sit back and defend like Newcastle did, he is a plan B target man bring him on for the last 25 mins.
Alex_LCFC Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 If true he’s bin fit all season, would be a better option than nacho and slimani
Nick Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 Get the betting results in a few weeks and see then. We are one injury to Vardy away from huge disaster with zero quality to fill his boots or challenge his form. I’d take him on a free and give him a three year deal at 29. He can also play wide as well and is left footed...
Dames Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 If we can keep him fit and Rodgers can motivate him like he has done previously its a no brainer on a free transfer considering our current forward options. Need to offer him a performance based contract though. High bonuses provided he does the business on the pitch when called upon.

Foxes1 Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 Listening to Radio Leicester on the way home from the match on Friday, someone suggested we go for Andy Carroll of West Ham.
sphericalfox Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 Would be a hugely expensive (wages) gamble. Yes we need a quality back-up or striker that can push for Vardy's position, but I'm not confident he's the answer despite his quality when fit.
Lcfc-1992 Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 Hasn’t been injured for over a year now if what I’ve just looked at is correct
Fox92 Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 Aside from his high wages and problems with injuries, I wouldn't even want him on the pitch. Seems to greedy and wants to shoot all the time.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 It's a move that definitely worked for WBA last season.
Happy Fox Posted 14 April 2019 Posted 14 April 2019 We do need a striker but not sure if he would be the right choice. Che Adams for £15m would be a much better investment.
