I thought Vardy as an outfield player did well today, as a striker with the job putting ball in the net, he was doggo

Was he anything else other than an outfield player

And his overall play has been rubbish. He's not finished chances that have been relative sitters. It's not his fault age catches up with everyone. But the man to lead an attack he is not anymore.

So stick someone else up front that scores even less, people talk about dakas build up play.

Remember his last 3 games he started, we lost them all consecutively and he didn’t score.

He worked really hard running around trying to make things happen, which is more then anybody else did. Ultimately, he's judged on goals and he fluffed some absolute sitters. But people who say we lost because of Vardy need to realise that Bristol had plenty of good chances too and Mads was our motm. They could've easily won by a bigger margin.

I think those in the game say even the best of strikers wont always score, so its up to the rest of the team to take the responsibility, and lets face it, Abdul and Mavididi were total doggo

Imagine we don’t get promoted, he leaves with the club on the brink mediocrity for the foreseeable future.

could there be a sadder ending?

shambles of a club we’ve become.

Nice one. Great response. Cheers mate.

Well we have been shite, yes today Vardy missed but he’s still our best striker. The system is the problem with no plan B or C.

There may be an even sadder ending… Rudkin gets involved and extends his contract

I love Vardy as much as any other Leicester fan but those 2 misses in the 2nd half today were inexcusable.

Unfortunately we have miss from two yards Daka as number 2.  Have to just hope Vardy comes good more times than not for the rest of the season.

With 3 clear chances you'd expect your nan to score. Is it?

Vardy lost his pace so defenders are catching him. Sad but we will not see the great Vardy again

That 4th miss was absolutely criminal

I don't get why he went that side because there was a defender closing down that side of the goal too.

Arty’s right. Vardy and us fans can’t complain about the tactics today because he had 3 possibly 4 very good chances so todays result was on him.

Enzo does have to account for how pitiful our performance was after they went 1 up.

It's unbelievable  how some people comment saying things like he should retire or he's a liability etc, he had some good chances and they were saved or he missed, simple as that. It's happened before and will happen again just like every other striker. It's amazing how a lot of those who say he's finished expect him to score 99% of the chances he gets, it makes no sense at all.

He should have bagged he didn’t even if he puts them away we still played shite apart from 20mins second half. Play offs here come.

You rather have the 3rd or 4th choice with an even worse goals to minutes average then

I'd rather someone who can contribute to the play if they aren't going to score.

If he puts them away people on here are singing Enzos praised about how we are back.

But he has 7 in 7 and 5 in 5, so one poor performance today
