You say that, but there were a couple of rugby players who looked out of it earlier that were allowed to play on. And the NY Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard played the majority of the week 1 game against the Cowboys with a concussion. Some concussions are not as immediately obvious as Walcott's just now.

We've made big steps in the right direction, but some aspects aren't where they should be. It's an improvement. 3

Has George North not spent most of the last 5 years concussed?
