I'm trying to remember the last time I saw one of the big boys totally bossed for an entire half by a smaller side like that, and coming up blank.  It's pretty rare at the very least.

Played well but lack a killer instinct. Need to score when you’re on top.

For all our possession Albrighton’s pinpoint early balls are still the best thing we do. Choudhury chasing around to win the ball is a very important asset.

We've been absolutely brilliant in that half. Can't believe it's level. Hamza and Evans in particular have been excellent.

And Albrighton ?

Need to score 2 quick goals in 2nd half.

Albrighton's radar looks like it's been fixed at last :)

Youri's touch has been off but I was saying the same last week before he played Barnes in.

It's a good game lacking in the final third. Hopefully one of them games where it bursts to life in the second half

Great first half just a shame we didnt get a goal. It really is written for Arsenal to shithouse us 1-0. Prob a dodgy peno or something. They have been absolutely terrible and have nothing on the bench and have 10 men. So yeh they are definitely winning 1-0

Everything brilliant other than getting the goal. Fortunate sending off in our favour but we were dominant before then too. We do have to keep one eye on the counter attack, though you expect this will be less of an issue in the second half.

Regardless of the result today, if we play like that every week I will be a very happy fan. Under Puel we had possession too, but under Rodgers we turn that possession into threatening chances. We should be comfortably ahead really.

Very enjoyable watch thus far.

As poor as Arsenal have been, have to give us credit there. Lots of negative comments about Brendan's team selection but got his tactics bang on 1st half. Be great if we could get an early goal and win convincingly!

Love Hamza

Weird to say but I’d prefer the red didn’t happen. we were dominating and I would’ve liked to see how it played out. Now there will be excuses from arsenal and IF we go on to win it won’t feel as good based on the performance. If this were a big game obv I’d feel differently and take the red all day

Exactly, which is why we need 2 quick goals in the second half!

We didn't have 75% possession in that game, though.  And Tottenham was at least threatening when they had the ball.  Arsenal is just lobbing it out to midfield and dropping back to defend.

True. The stat after 20 mins that we had completed 141 passes and they had completed 20 was staggering

Wolves v Arsenal a few days ago?

You mean the match where Wolves had 29% possession and both teams had 11 shots?

Barnes could have a real impact today

It's just upsetting that Wolves were 3-0 up by now... we're just missing that cutting edge... :(
