seymour Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Just saw this on Skybet. A bit random. No other sources. One of my all time favourite players but at 35 does he fit our profile?
Langston Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Wouldn't happen but how ****ing fun would this be? Imagine being Harvey barnes or Demarai Gray and learning off Arjen bloody Robben. GET IT DONE
jayfox26 Posted 6 May 2019 Posted 6 May 2019 Skybet also has us as favourites to sign Sturridge, Drinkwater and Tielemans. As long as they are right about Tielemans, I really wouldn't ve bothered about the others.
Clarkey123 Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Would be a world class signing, even at his age his talent is unquestionable and could do damage off the bench
Deeg67 Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Never happen, but what a blast that would be. Robben can still wreak havoc from the wing and spell Vardy at the 9.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Way past it and would want 100k + a week. No thanks.
Nick Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 God I loved watching this player. But it’s not really going to be a good buy now is it!

We do not need to be handing out Pension Top-Up Contracts to has-beens. Leave that to Standard Life or Legal and General. This would be awful business and up there with the signing of Slimani. NO THANKS.
lcfc sheff Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Not saying we will sign him, it’s incredibly unrealistic... however we do need some experienced players of his calibre if we want to go to the next level.
yorkie1999 Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 I suggest that people need to realise that the point of being a bookie is to make money and not give tips out to where players are heading for
Bossman Blessed It Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 A genuine, out-and-out champion. Even if he´s 35, he could be an incredible weapon from the bench. More importantly, we´ve got a few wingers who could learn so, so much from him. I also wouldn´t write it off completely. Cambiasso joined while Pearson was in charge - Robben actually might know Brendan from their Chelsea days. Would be very entertaining
MC Prussian Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Wages. Age. Injury history. Impact - probably only usable as a sub. All elements speaking against him. No, thanks.
surrifox Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 He would elevate the quality of our diving to world class levels

RowlattsFox Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 He'd cost more than he'd be worth. All for a bit of experience but it would go against everything we're trying to do it. Bringing an expensive ego into the dressing room is not what we want. I think we'll sign someone like him though, left footer who plays on the right.

Privileged that I was able to see him and Ribery play football at Bayern. Talk about a horror show for the opposing team. Speed players always lose their quality earlier in their careers. Except for Vardy of course.

Guest Cujek Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 why wouldn't anyone want Arjen Robben here? His experience is immense, no one would be expecting him to start week in week out and be a world beater at 35, but imagine what he could offer the dressing room.

These two are already offering enough:

Read through ‘some’ of the posts in this thread and all will be revealed in answer to your question. Mind you these are just opinions....
