Koke Posted 8 May 2019 Posted 8 May 2019 Great defender. Got dizzy when he got past the half way line though. Master at back post defending. Solid moment of trolling that cvnt Carragher. Simpson benefited from us as his career was going nowhere until we picked him up, we benefited from him as well.
blueharmie Posted 8 May 2019 Posted 8 May 2019 Would be a good buy for the promoted teams he is pretty solid. Done a cracking Job for us over the years .
Bossman Blessed It Posted 8 May 2019 Posted 8 May 2019 Did exactly what we needed him to. Good lesson for all of us about ignoring the media portrayal of a player. He seemed so committed and dedicated to our club and had games where he was an absolute brick wall when we won the title. Our game has evolved and we´re lucky to have the best RB I reckon we´ve ever had at the moment - but Simmo is surely a close second. Good luck to him!

Turned into one of our most consistent players, solid, and one of my favourite LCFC players. Wish him nothing but the best. Thanks for the memories.

RumbleFox Posted 8 May 2019 Posted 8 May 2019 Best defensive fullback in the league when we won it. Good luck with the future. Cheers me duck. X

foxy boxing Posted 8 May 2019 Posted 8 May 2019 Thanks for the great service to the club over the years Danny boy, I guess at the end of the season after the summer you won't be right back.

Stadt Posted 8 May 2019 Posted 8 May 2019 Which game was it where he missed a sitter ? I think he was our only outfielder not to score in 16/17 (?) or something like that

Fulham could probably have done with a few more defensive minded players after playing nice attacking football in the championship and getting whooped in the prem.

Absolutely no chance Bielsa would renege on his principles to sign Danny ****ing Simpson

RonnieTodger Posted 8 May 2019 Posted 8 May 2019 Put him on the bench against Chelsea and up front once we're 3-0 up
TeamRocket Posted 8 May 2019 Posted 8 May 2019 Put all the players leaving on the last game just so they can say bye

I don't see Bielsa doing that at all tbh. He will either A: Gloriously go down in flames implementing an ultra attacking system or B: Gloriously succeed implementing an ultra attacking system As for Wilder, he seems like a wily character, and I don't doubt that Sheffield United will be a lot more defensively focussed in the Premier League. However. Fullbacks that offer something in attack are very integral to the modern approach to football, and Wilder certainly seems to have a very forward-looking style.
