urban.spaceman Posted 8 May 2019 Posted 8 May 2019 THIS smile... Made the whole world smile with me. I’m going to ****ing miss you Shinji. I am definitely making my next dog after you.
nnfox Posted 8 May 2019 Posted 8 May 2019 Played such a vital part in our title win. His role as second striker/attacking midfielder/advanced defensive midfielder was fulfilled brilliantly and he ran himself into the ground every game (and fell onto the ground quite a lot too!) I for one am very thankful that he was here and I wish him well wherever he goes next. I'll miss his smile

The Blur Posted 8 May 2019 Posted 8 May 2019 Cult hero. Bambi. Scorer of the scruffiest bicycle kick ever. Smiles. That celebration with Fuchs. PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPION. You were certainly memorable and will be not forgotten Okazaki!
Corky Posted 8 May 2019 Posted 8 May 2019 A player you can't dislike. Gave his all for the club every time he played, never any hint of trouble off the pitch. A true cult hero.

Foxy Mofo Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 https://www.90min.com/posts/6363831-leicester-bid-farewell-to-two-immortals Article on his departure.
The whole world smiles Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 this is genuinely heartbreaking, feels like a relationship ending. same with Simpson. thank god Fuchs signed for 1 more year I don't think my heart could have taken loosing 3 of the proper title winners in one summer. will be a sad day when the last one of that side goes. like when the last Tommy died.
TeamRocket Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 Would be very fitting if he play and score in our last game just to see that smile :'(
LCCFox96 Posted 9 May 2019 Posted 9 May 2019 I'll miss Shinji well and I hope he gets the move he wants. Will always follow his progress closely wherever he ends up. Great personality, top pro and a huge contributor to some of our greatest ever moments. Sadly for him, I think the side has evolved beyond him.
MC Prussian Posted 13 May 2019 Posted 13 May 2019 Time to say goodbye, sweet prince. Last time we've seen you in a city shirt... Arigato gozaimas-u! Sayonara, Shinji-san! Say hello to Yuki Abe.
Monsell1976 Posted 13 May 2019 Posted 13 May 2019 Wasn’t a great fan, light weight poor scoring record, but good luck Okazaki, you will always be part of a team that did the impossible, wish him well for the rest of his career.
Blue ROI Posted 13 May 2019 Posted 13 May 2019 Best of luck to the lad. The last 18 months were not kind to him but his workrate and application in 2015/16 was immense. Hope he stays active at a decent level in the game. One of my favourite Okazaki goals this.

HybridFox Posted 13 May 2019 Posted 13 May 2019 So glad he came on in the final game and to receive that reception from the fans. Sadly the time is right but he will be fondly remembered by all. Good luck Shinji!
