Get a grip lads, we're signing Youri fooking Tielemans. Next year we could have one of the most talented teams in the league. This is one of the most exciting times to be a City fan.

 

Let's leave the squabbling of who did what and whose ITK etc .

There is that, but it’s a conversation that’s been had 100 times with the same group always appearing eventually and steadfastly refusing to give any credit at all to Puel.

Most likely outcome is we sell Tielemans in two years for an obscene profit. And you know, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. For a club in our position, that’s the best way to do business and maintain a squad that can compete for Europe.

Watching the Man U Twitter timeline makes you laugh it really does. Wan Bissaka barely entered the conversation to start with when talking about who they all wanted. Next minute he’s signed for £50m and he’s the best right back in the league based on him having made loads of tackles. 

 

Now Tielemans isn’t Man U quality because if he was they’d be signing him... because their scouting and buying has been so reliable lately 

 

Cant wait for them coming with £120m for him in two years.

Chuckled at them mocking the value of Longstaff for 50mill for playing "like 10 games" yet they've chucked the same at Wan Bissaka whose played maybe 30 games. 

 

Love seeing all the comments of "Any chance of Utd hijacking" and stuff like that on every Kristoff tweet. They're getting so desperate its unreal. 

 

In 2 years wouldn't be surprised at all if Youri went for £100mill plus, would be brilliant for us as would mean he's been brilliant.

Those wondering what’s taking so long should bear in mind that if BIG DADDY hadn’t spotted YT on the plane then there would have been no media spotlight on him arriving Friday evening and the general ITK and Percy stuff would have quietly bubbled along over the weekend and it would all be announced tomorrow (or perhaps late today).

im not sure his overall recruitment was good, it’s just the players that are hits are very good.

which masks the £60m on players that were misses.

 

But if the 2 young defenders go on to become good first team players then it will have been a good window.

Ward isn't a miss as he was brought as back up to kasper. Jury is out on soyuncu and benkovic but time will tell, both only very young though. Ghezzal has been the main disappointment but still not a bad effort by puel that. Last year was our best transfer window for years

Why are there people discussing selling Youri, when it's not even officially revealed,we've pulled off arguably the best transfer coup of the century. It wasn't that many years ago Man City n Chelsea were shit clubs success wise As for The deluded Man Utd fans fck em, the only pre season bet I've had so far is Solksjaer to be first prem manager sacked

I think the best transfer coup of all time was when we signed Ngolo Kante....let's hope Tielemans can match his contribution to our club's history.

This is huge !! What a moment. I hope we do find two more players to really buff out the squad but regardless, I’ve not been this excited for a season for so many years.
